I got the Pfizer shot yesterday at noonish.

There was absolutely no pain whatsoever going in. My doctor said when she got the shot she also had no pain until that night when she woke up with pain but it quickly went away. I had no pain whatsoever last night. Right now I have no pain at all unless I use my arm and then have a tiny bit of ache.

Will get my booster in three weeks give of take a couple days.

There were doctors coming in and getting their shots after me so I feel lucky. No one in my treatment group of about 50 people or so got Covid-19 nor did any of our staff of another dozen and a half or so. The only patients to get their shots before my group were the patients at the VA nursing home in Vancouver, Wa and they got theirs a week ago.

I'm now partially protected and if I did get Covid-19 and wouldn't be as bad as it would be had I not gotten the first shot.

I recommend the shot for everyone.

You may be one of the few Blazer fans that can attend a game. BTW: Do they give you documentation that verifies the injection.?

good for you Lanny! better safe than sorry

It would be safer for you if you didn't assume this and went with the line of thought that the Vaccine won't work until you complete the process.

THIS.
Please see this. It is really effective after the booster dose and 21 days! Before, it's just as effective as the placebo.

I have read that the 1st shot is ordinary, but the 2nd is a doozy. Take it after you've finished the day's deeds, as you may need to sleep.

Interesting. I’ve heard the opposite. I’ve read that the 1st shot is worse.

Yeah from what I had heard, doctors were afraid people wouldn’t come back for the second one bc of how bad the first one was

Oh, even if it works partially I'm still taking no chances.

From what I've heard from several others who got the same shot the first one is nothing. I'll bet the second one is less than nothing.

So, Lanny, we may now presume you have been microchipped by Bill Gates?
More like a multitude of Bill Gates' microchips. If you get too close to me I'll let out a little cough and you too will be infected with a multitude of microchips thanks to me. Resistance is futile.

My doctor told me "I think Mercury is in Uranus."

I said, "Oh, I don't buy into all that astrology bullshit."

She said, "Neither do I, the rectal thermometer broke."

One of my buddies out here is a Primary Care Physician in a private group and he's having a hard time getting the shot.

I only know VA doctors and they all got their shots.
I do know my wife's private doctor but haven't seen him in a few months so I have no idea whether he and his staff got their shots yet. I presumed all doctors got their shots before me.
