That is a somewhat valid point, however, OSN didn't have any kind of broadcasting deal with any channel, and had to individually negotiate game-by-game broadcasts with individual stations (ones that were not already carried by ESPN/Fox Sports/Vs./Etc.), so them signing this deal with Comcast almost made sense for them. Anyway, with a new Pac-10 Commish coming in, the TV Network deals for the league will most definately be upgraded so that all games between Pac-10 teams will be televised somewhere... perhaps even on a new Pac-10 Channel, like what the Big-10 has. That only leaves the OOC games, and I think I can live without seeing the Ducks play Utah State or whatever. The big OOC games will definately be televised.
The Blazers, however, signed their fans away when they contracted with a channel that they knew didn't have nearly the market penetration that FSN had, and apparently didn't care, since Comcast was giving them a fatter paycheck. To this day, I don't think the organization cares that their games can't be seen by about 60 percent of the households in Oregon and SW Washington. As long as they are gettin' paid, it's all good by them.
Now that Seattle doesn't have an NBA team, the decision to leave FSN seems even more wrong, as the channel would grow the Blazer brand to encompass the entire Northwest.
