I just canceled my Comcast

So goatd.net, when I click it wants my credit card info but says I will not be charged. Did you folk who use it have to give your card info? I hate having to do that but if everyone does it with no issues I'll feel better about it.

They don't do that to me. You must have the face of a sucker. Buck up and ignore the demands to download something. It's not necessary, but after waiting out the ads and getting the game, I delete my surfing history in case they're reading it. In Windows 8,

Settings/Control Panel/Network and Internet/Delete Browsing History and Cookies
In the General tab, Browsing History section, click Delete, Delete

http://goatd.net/ is the same as http://88.80.11.29/

Yeah absolutely not. That sounds too fucking sketchy.

As for Verizon FIOS and its problems... I understand. But to say it's worse than Comcast..... I dunno if ANYONE can take that crown.

I just switched from Frontier (use to be Verizon) to Comcast. Frontier was terrible, they really screwed me over by auto renewing me into a 2 year contract and then having no record of my call to change my service that I had made a month eariler. Before that I was with direct tv for 7 years and still got charged $300 to disconnect because of some technicality. Point here is that they all suck and they are all corrupt with shitty customer service. Comcast at least has a killer on demand service, and I am paying $60 a month less than with Frontier, with no contract. The one issue Ive had with Comcast's product is that we have to reboot the xfinity box and/or modem a few times a week because of weird shit it does, which is pretty annoying. Also my internet isnt as fast as with Frontier, but for the price it suits our needs well.

My latest Comcast problem, the one that made me finally say enough is several channels went out including the Blazers chsnnel and spike, a couple of my favorites. I call Comcast and after almost an hour of trying, they can't fix it without an appointment. I schedule an appointment but in the last two years I've had two seperate occasions of them not showing up in the two hour service window.

The only time they had available the next day was very inconvienent but I took it and then had to cancel a personal engagement to sit at home for the appointment. Nobody showed. Two hours waiting, now for the third time in two years, I said screw it. I'll just figure out everything online. Right now I've got 90% of the content I had before a and never have to wait for Comcast douchebags to not show. And I save a pretty penny.

I'm getting real close. Blazers are the only reason I still have them.

My new plan is first halves of Blazer games I'll watch from the gym, at halftime go to a pub to catch the second half.

This season, they are blacking out Blazer games in Seattle. It sucks. I have only been able to watch half of one game this year. WTF with blacking out games in Seattle? First they take the Sonics. And now, they don't even let you watch the Blazers.

Wow really? That has to piss the Blazers off as it effects their ability to generate a fan base in an open market, for only Comcasts benifit. Its not like casual NBA fans will drive to PDX for Seattle to catch a game of a team they never get to watch. 2 more years of this contract right? Cant end soon enough.

I think it is an NBA thing, but they don't have Comcast sports network even available this year. Last year, the game feed was horrible. It would frequently cut in and out and was basically unwatchable. Maybe that's why they cut it up here.
