I don't know Delonte West and neither does anyone else on this thread but I'm bipolar and while it is awful, it is treatable and one can function and flourish with it. He's a talented player who wants to play for the minimum. If we made a deal with him in which he must go to regular visits with a psychiatrist and accept treatment, why not sign him. The illness isn't contagious. The other players won't become bipolar themselves. If anything, it would be a good influence on them to see someone brave enough to deal with his issues. If he refuses treatment, cut him.
