I correction a significant over-site in the outfitting of the MarAzul today.
A boat has to reside in a an especially harsh environment, salt water is as harsh as you will find.

It seems I used a standard 10ga wire cable when wiring the shore power supply the connection to the boats main electrical service panel.
The problem this caused was burning the shore power connection connector up ever so often. After replacing it twice, I decided correct the issue and replace the wire with a marine grade cable.

I shall let Lanny explain the reason for the failures, with his expert Engineering back ground. I am just please to have it back under control.

I was expecting to read about how you gave illegals free boat rides and left them in international waters lol

Did it consist of blowing rods? Probably have a few of those on the ol' Marazul.

I don't think so.
