We argue here a bit, but on my trip I went to St. John's Church here in Edinburgh. It's not the most famous or iconic local church, but I dug it plenty. Thought I'd share a few pics.

Just had my iPhone, so the pics aren't the best.

That is cool. Ask them how much it would cost to rename the church St. Sly. I can offer payment in a combination of money and young boys.

I'm not sure, but I was able to replace the cross on the steeple with a Lillard jersey and rename it St Johns church of FAMS

That only cost a promise of 20 minutes with Mrs HCP

This is one of the few things that really bum me out about living in Oregon..... we don't have any of this kind of cool shit. We don't even have the cool stuff that the east coast has.

also, if you ever come up to California..the California Missions are pretty awesome too. Very historic, old school. kind of like some of the churches out in remote mexico.

The old expensive churches are impressive. But this is more my speed:

San Juan Capistrano. halfway between LA and San Diego...really cool. Actually took a train from downtown LA to here.

I did a lot of travelling throughout Italy last year, saw so many churches....pretty crazy how many there are.....really awesome stuff. couldn't take pics in most of them though. even if you're not religious, they are great for historical value.
