If MM paid attention, he would know that we played two players in the 4th quarter of the Lakers game that will likely be cut. So no, the Lakers aren't championship contenders. MM and HCP are looking on the surface. I don't care whether or not we win the preseason games. They mean nothing. But the TEAM is clearly better than last year. SlyPokerDog is worthless around here. When we went 54-28, he spent the entire season saying that we were a mediocre team. I was so happy he was gone. Go away again! You're not needed here.

I am not worthless. Someone has to tell you you are being a tool (notice I didn't call him one, mods) when you start threads about teams free falling when they reach the WCF. Right now no one in this forum, or anywhere in the league knows how good or bad this team will be.

The Eagles are a great example. They ran rough shot over everyone in the preseason, and then something odd happened......teams actually schemed for the Eagles in the regular season, and they struggled....and still are.

So your post should go fuck itself. Your posts are mean spirited and condescending. They don't allow fellow Blazer fans to have an opinion that differs from yours without trying to make them feel bad for having them. Hey MM, Wouldn't that last statement hold true for us as well? I'm sorry, but that seems to be a big point of defense among those that think we will struggle in the regular season... that they are figuring their teams out and not focusing. But isn't this the same for the Blazers? So what would be any different? We are in the midst of letting guys fight for roster spots and prove themselves. Winning hasn't been the priority #1 in Stott's book from what Ive seen, even if Dame cant slow down a notch.

This argument that has been said several times by several people hold no clout and doesn't make sense.

With that said, no one should have to apologize for how they believe the team will play this year.
