I released an album tonight

Call it a mixtape, you'll have more street cred.

Before I listen, I need to know if there are any references to Santa when it is played backwards.

I made the album free since it's just a hobby so if you want to download it for free go ahead!

Btw, I really dig what I'm hearing so far.

You need to score my 'They Live' fan film I'm making in a few months. :)

Ok, I have to ask, do you have a glorious wall of synthesizers a la Vangelis, Jarre, etc, that you compose with, or is this all on one goddamn laptop with DAW software.

Either way, bless you. :)

I wish I had all the big modular synths!

My setup is a 13" Macbook Pro running Logic Pro X and Reaper, and a 21-key MIDI keyboard... and years of tinkering experience :ghoti:

I can appreciate that. I just am old enough to have a nostalgic love for wall-of-synth-porn, even with Yanni in front of it. :)

I play around with Reason, but still suck at anything besides noodling around with synth patches.

His Acropolis album is fantastic, Yanni or no!

Yeah, I'm basically releasing albums to pay for my software synth habit. My father paints to pay for his art supply habit. :D

I seriously want to encourage anyone who wants to just download the album for free; it boosts my numbers and gets me some perks with the bandcamp service. If you want to throw in a buck, feel free, but you're under no obligation. But downloads help my visibility.

One of my favorite synth soundtracks is the Tangerine Dream soundtrack to 'Risky Business'.

Their 80's output is my favorite. Lots of good soundtracks and the albums Exit through Optical Race.

Of course I'm a giant Klaus Schulz nerd too; I think I have all the La Vie Electronique albums now.

I just bought a copy and am listening to the album now as I get ready for day to begin. Uplifting.
