hehe 28 years now my friend. Almost more than their music, their story of them as a band amazes me. But yes Californication is still my favorite album of all time. I still love their other stuff, but for what it meant for me in those stupid teenage years, it was a constant. Great music and Nostalgia make it my top one.
 
I read a report that the single is being released over in Europe today...so..it should be available sometime today!!
 
I read that too, but last night on Stadium-arcadium.com or whatever its called, they said the Chili's confirmed that wasnt true :(

Josh does take more of a back seat on this song. But I def dig the funky riff Flea does. But Honestly I think there would be more guitar and improv live. Honestly it sounds like a John Chili song IMO (more modern RHCP ovbiously)

A little disappointing for a Rick Rubin produced track but I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the album.
 
It has more of a Disco-Funk sound to it. But dont forget Rick Rubin produced both By The Way, and Stadium Arcadium, not exactly the Chili's harder albums either. They sure have calmed down with their age. But I dig this song. Not world changing for me, but very good new material IMO.

Love it. Love the bass line. Guitar is lacking a bit, but I just think that is how the song is written. I expect Josh to shine on this album--the Peppers' know that he is stepping in for a guitar god, so they're gonna show him off.

Can't wait1
