We were in 330.

My first thought was this was a fight. That's why I was scanning the crowd instead of looking directly at who had just fallen.
 
Might help if you just imagine you've been to your first rugby practice....that's about how they feel after a workout...only maybe missing an earlobe or two

and to think that both you guys could've poured a beer on Draymond Green getting him ejected...you'd have gone down in Blazer history...50 years from now kids in Portland would have that highlight reel to watch!

Anyway, halftime is almost over and I'm coming back from the bathroom. I enter from the concourse and start to walking up the stairs to row K when I look up and see someone tumbling head over heels down the seats. Bouncing, flipping, row after row, hitting the seat backs and people, continuing to tumble down rows of seats. I'm just frozen watching as this guy finally flips lands perfectly in the only empty seat in this one row.

Now my first thought was this was a fight, I mean for someone to fall down that many rows of seats they had to have been punched or shoved. But as I scan the crowd with my eyes I only see stunned people looking back down at the person who had just tumbled down multiple rows of seats. That's when I looked back at the person who had just fallen and realized....

It was @Jade Falcon! Holy fucking shit! I'm like dude, what just happened?!? Are you alright?!?! He's a bit stunned, eyes wide as saucers (which makes since because just took an hell of falls) and the first thing he says to me is, "have you seen my water bottle?"

It was amazing, surreal, shocking, I'm not sure how to describe it.

Anyway, his wrist and arm are fucked up but he soldiered through and watched the rest of the game.

Apparently the girl next to him wouldn't move when he tried to exit the row and he lost his balance.

Holy crap! Did he fall down the isle or actually over the rows of seats? I hope you are allright @Jade Falcon. Sue the Blazers.
 
There's something very symbolic in your fall last night, Jade. Most of us Blazer fans entered the season feeling like the team was on its way up after last year's playoffs and the acquisition of Ezeli. Instead, they limp (literally) into the playoffs with Ezeli's ultimate replacement struggling to come back from a broken bone in his leg and end up down 0-3 to the Warriors, the same team that dumped the Blazers last season. Your ass- over-tea-kettle fall back to the lower tier is the perfect image for this season. Nicely done! (J/K, of course. Glad you're okay.)

People should stand when someone is trying to get by, to make more room. That's what I do. It's really not difficult.

the 300 level gives me vertigo for that very reason - I feel very, very unsafe up there.

Indeed. My fall was foretold by the Heavens. Remember....when you see a Jade Falcon tumble over a row of seats, that means a sweep in 4 games.

It's like Punxsutawney Phil when he sees his shadow.

It will certainly be the last time I ever sit up there. My father and I got to talking about it after the game, and we agreed to just get single seats for one-another in good sections, rather than trying to get two seats together if they aren't available. It will save us something like this happening again.
