I can see Kane getting dealt but the Rangers would have to give up at least Kakko, Lundkvist, a 2023 1st and maybe something else, plus Chicago would have to eat $5m which they probably would. It would leave our C position very weak as you'd have to go with Chytil and Goodrow as your 2/3 which isn't great.

If Drury wants Kane he’ll be here. Hawks would have to eat $$$. They got fleeced in the Debrincat trade if he can sustain his goal scoring ability

Brooks made a great point about Kappo Kakko. Any team could offer $4 mil for a #2 overall and the Rangers would not likely be able to match it yet so far no team has.

Still doesn't explain why no team out of the 31 other clubs in the NHL have extended an offer sheet to him. Plenty of time though...will be interesting to see if any clubs take a flyer on him.
