..that Batum would become an AS this year.

His stats so far are undeniable. A PER of 22, 20ppg, 6rpg, 3apg 2.5spg. At this rate he'll be ALL-defense too.

No many naysayers about the kid in this place. Fact is, Nate never utilized him well and he was young and took a little longer to put it all together. I'm glad Olshey fought tooth and nail to keep him.

I wasn't sure if Batum could reach that next level and become an eventual all-star. He's on pace to do just that!

Batum is certainly blossoming under Stotts' tutelage and playing system. I also like the fact we have Batum and Matthews. Both of them are accurate 3-pt shooters giving our team plenty of options for Lillard and company.

Who was the douche on here that ALWAYS blasted us this past year for being Nic fans?

Who are the forwards in the WC that are likely to be All Stars that he'd have to compete with?

Blake Griffin
Tim Duncan
Kevin Durant
Kevin Love
Dirk
Iggy
LaMarcus
Anthony Davis

Maybe Rudy Gay

Thats pretty much it, right?

And as of right now, Dirk is unlikely. And of the names I listed, only 2 are a given (Durant and Blake. One due to productivity, the other due to popularity)

Speaking of Blake Griffin, has anyone noticed (albeit early) he's pulling a Sidney Wicks with his production? His scoring has gone down each of the seasons he's been in the league, just like Sidney.

That's now known as TyrekeSyndrome!

I think he just got lazy. Watch their games....... he just stands around. He also used to handle the rock more his rookie season.

Faried!

aren't they smearing the C position in with forwards this year? in that case you have to add in howard, ibaka etc. and figure 7 spots available.

...maybe we should start spamming France to get their entire country to vote a la China :dunno:

right now:

Durant
Howard
Griffin (voted in by public)
Duncan
Zebo
Marc Gasol

one spot left for everyone else, but Batum is probably on top that heap at the moment.

I think it's either Zach OR Marc, not both.

i hope so, but if griz have leagues best record coaches will be inclined to vote 2 of zebo, gasol, gay

they won't have the best record in the league.

remember, Portland started off last year really hot too. Look how that ended.

Nic is now the third best fantasy player in the league behind only Kyle Lowry and Durant (based on averages).

If we look at totals, he's 4th behind only KD, LBJ, and Kobe.

Anyway to prevent Blake from getting voted in by the fans? He doesn't deserve a spot this year. Jamal Crawford is the best player on the Clippers.

So far, he's a lock for All Defense First Team

ZBO!!!!!!!!!

This. ZBo deserves to start on the All Star team but should be a lock whether he starts or not. Best PF in the league.
