Raef Lafentz had been called the greatest trade chip in history by KP on more than one occasion last year. Instead of using it, we sat and did nothing.
Actually, Portland did use it. Portland used it the same way a team trading for it would have attempted to use it: let it expire and use the cap space to sign a good free agent.
It sounds more like you're angry at being fooled by Pritchard's sales pitch. If you really believed that RLEC was "the greatest trading chip in history," then I can see why you're still bitter.

I can't remember when was the last timethere was this much activity at the trade deadline. There must have been another year like this, but I think of trade deadlines as being known for being anti-climatic where a couple of minor trades take place.
