We haven't traded Dame, Dame traded his house for a bigger one.Why would we want Bam when we already traded Dame?
Sorry I don't open threads. I just read titles. We haven't traded Dame, Dame traded his house for a bigger one.
Little, Keon, 2nd rounders for Giannis. We are trading everyone on the roster, coaches included, for everyone Miami has, then we will flip Kevin love for jokic and Duncan Robinson for Murray
I have no problem trading Nurk. Just not sure if Bam is that much of a need or upgrade.Sly is against trading Nurk for Bam.... noted.
You don't think Bam would be much of an upgrade over Nurk?I have no problem trading Nurk. Just not sure if Bam is that much of a need or upgrade.
A bit, sure. But when I look at the roster, center isn't the position of need that is keeping us from a deep run in the playoffs. You don't think Bam would be much of an upgrade over Nurk?

Is the Blazers preparing a compelling package for Bam even a real thing? Or was it a strategically leaked middle finger back to Miami? It's funny how the reports of Portland pursuing Bam came the day after all the buzz about Miami prioritizing a deal for Dame. Because that ticked me off as a Blazer fan. What the hell does Miami have that Portland wants outside of players they would never part with? No young talent, no draft capital. Wait, you have nothing to offer but you want Dame? GTFO of here with that.
You better not be pro-Turner or pro-Ayton. Bam would easily change life on the defensive end of the floor. With Bam, guys like Thybulle can gamble more on defense.I have no problem trading Nurk. Just not sure if Bam is that much of a need or upgrade.
Strongly disagree. Not only would Bam be worlds better defensively both individually and allowing them to switch off improving team D, he'd be the rim runner/dunker position monster they've lacked Dame's entire pro career. Dame & Ant both are great outside threats which forces the D out on their jumpers. When the D takes that away they drive and collapse the remaining D to them so they dump it to Nurk who does 5 moves before missing an awkward hook. I've seen that play 10,000 times.A bit, sure. But when I look at the roster, center isn't the position of need that is keeping us from a deep run in the playoffs.

I think before mid season if not earlier you will see Badji, Ive heard that he looks good in work outs.I like Bam but we have to address other things first and he would cost too much and you can get a role playing C that is like a 75% Bam for a pretty good price.
Hell, we had one once named JJ Hickson.
