I am so sick of it. Find out what the penalty is and then see if he appeals or not. I am just getting so sick of it. This year has been hard enough to be a Yankee fan let alone with all this Arod crap.

This entire fiasco has become absurd. Now they might not announce anything until Sunday or Monday? Just get it done already.

I can't fathom why MLB is dragging their heals on this...

I feel like I'm watching the movie Ground hog day. Every day its the same shit over & over. You can't turn on any sports show without hearing about. Or picking up a newspaper without reading about it. It's really just getting stupid at this point.

I don't find it to be a coincidence that most of the teams are approaching 50 games left in the regular season.

I wonder if they are not so confident in their case against him. Regardless, MLB is making a mockery of this whole situation, including the leg dragging with the other players. Terrible if they know who is being suspended and didn't do it before the deadline. Selig is equal in effectiveness to Bettman in my eyes.

I'm guessing here but maybe they're waiting until there's 35-40 games left so the suspended players (50 games) will not be able to play in the playoffs.

This is the thought I have. It would be pretty stupid to suspend players from playoff teams only to have them come back to those teams in the post season. The suspensions should be for the year and the playoffs.

It really has become ridiculous. But expecting a Selig run organization to take care of business timely and properly may be wishful thinking on all our parts.

At this point - anything less than a plea bargained suspension that goes through this season and next would be exceedingly disappointing.

oh, he is far worse than Bettman... I'm not the biggest fan of Bettman, but what Selig is doing is flat out ridiculous
