Redford hardly speaks so I thought I could take it.

The movie critics and I sure differ in opinion about this film.
First of all I hate these sailing movies where City folks go to Sea and it is an absolute disaster
start to finish.

Well that is the essence of this movie except he is the most hapless dufus ever make it to sea
and he rarely says a word in response to serial fuck ups.

Really weird, but it does give me an idea of how to help the guy get better material.

Horrible horrible movie. I think it best described as what a movie about Gilligan would be like if he were older, better looking and maybe half as smart.

Just terrible.

Completely agree about the movie, wife and I couldn't finish it. Faster than Sominex! I spent 3 years on the Pacific back in the day and when a boat lists 60degrees you close the frickin hatch.

Down right painful to watch. I am thinking, I will give Clint Eastwood a story about an old man on single handed mission at sea, hopefully done like a seasoned seaman. See if he can make it less painfully.
Call it, "MarAzul Under the Five Great Capes".

He was just pointing out that you mentioned his favorite beverage.

Seasoned seamen are more commonly reffered to as old salts
