Re: Iconic 2,500 year old Siberian princess 'died from breast cancer', reveals MRI sc
Did anyone else find this article a bit strange?
Siberian Scientist? Did they consult with the Yukon Scientists?
It is odd the guy diagnosis Breast cancer in a 2500 year old cadaver by MRI when it is know to produce false positive results in live women.
"Drawbacks of breast MRI for general screening
Although breast MRI is a more sensitive test than mammography in many ways, this increased sensitivity may cause areas of the breast that do not have cancer to appear abnormal, producing an increased number of false-positive test results. False-positive test results indicate cancer when no cancer is actually present. This may lead to unnecessary biopsies (removal of breast tissue for further study) and increased anxiety for many women."
Given the long explanation of the known benefits by the ancients of the use of herbs, including cannabis, I would speculate that the diagnosis found an aliment to fit the preferred prescription.
