If I get tickets, does anyone want to go to the game with me this weekend?

Not sure I'll be able to get two but if I can, anyone interested?

I would if it were in Portland. :)

We will probably be playing in either Memphis or Houston. Are you meaning for game 3 or 4?

What happened to that nop guy who lived in Memphis that posted on here?

There is only one person in here that is more of a jinx than you jinxspeed and that's me. Sorry, I actually want us to win

I talked a lot of trash with NOVoodoo back in the day. He ignored me so I talked through thread titles, lol.

Memphis too long of a drive but if we play New Orleans or a Texas team in conference finals I'll go with ya

You gotta go through Vacation Packages on Priceline.com. I got round trip flight and three nights at a hotel for $380 total.

If you want to venture outside of the downtown area and try something besides BBQ, be sure to try the Super Submarine Sandwich Shop. It's the best sandwich I've ever had and cheap. It's always the one place I make sure I eat at when I visit Memphis, and don't be turned off because it also serves Chinese Food.

If you like more than just eggs, bacon and toast for breakfast, check out Brother Junipers. Their omelets are insane. Get there early though if you don't want to wait an hour for a table.

I wish we could play Memphis more often in the playoffs. They don't seem to have a bunch of dicks for fans like Houston, Minnesota, and san Antonio do

Ha! That's what I was thinking.

But I'm sure Memphis has their share of bad apples. Maybe they aren't clever enough to find us!

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm not into subs and omelettes though. I'm at Flynn's on Beale Street.

Fair enough. While I hope you enjoy your stay in Memphis, I hope you don't enjoy the game. Although that may just be my bias speaking...

Oh we do, and I hope they don't find their way here. Fans are a reflection of their team whether they realize it or not, and I don't want some trolls to represent our team and fanbase. But the boards I visit did list this forum as the best one to visit, so it's very possible they will find their way. I made an account because it seems like you're knowledgeable and well moderated and primarily discussed basketball. Our boards are welcome to fans of opposing teams too if you want to visit:

In the past, there has been a delay in activating new accounts. I hope that's not the case any more, but it's still very possible.
