I like that a lot, but I don't think it's very feasible.Hell--if we had enough room for LA and Monroe, doesn't that mean we also have enough for both Jordan and Harris? That would be a pretty strong path too.
Dame/Watson (room exception?)
Henderson/McCollum
Harris/Aminu
Leonard/Vonleh
Jordan/Plumlee
I could see that 10-man rotation being very good.
Jordan will not sign with us...he wants to win
Not feasible...why? As in, unlikely that Jordan would come here? Perhaps. But he does have a relationship with Olshey, he would certainly have a bigger role here than he did in LA, and I think I could make a decent car for that being a pretty good team, rebuilt on the fly.I like that a lot, but I don't think it's very feasible.
Actually, I'd bring Meyers off the bench and start Harris and Aminu together.

Point is, there are still ways to build a team that's good immediately and has room to grow. I'm not giving up on this season yet.
The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Ed Davis. He's 25, athletic, and had a 20 PER in LA last year. The metrics indicate that he's pretty decent defensively, he shot 60% last year, is a solid rebounder. I think he would be an excellent fit.
The arena. The city. The northwest. What's left to blow up?
Keep Kaman and trade him at the deadline to a contender/playoff team that needs a center. Bigs are valuable, especially at the trade deadline when some contender will have an injured center.
Worst place to be in the NBA is 35-45 wins and the 8-14th pick year in and year out. You either want to contend or suck so you get great lottery picks, especially if you are a team where pulling FAs is tough.
Start Lillard, McCollum, Aminu, Vonleh/Meyers, Plumlee. Sign zero vets and fill out the bench with all young prospects with potential. So Henderson and young guys on the bench. Full youth movement, which would put us near the bottom of the league so we get a top 3 or 4 draft pick. Build through high lottery picks. Last time it took one draft - 06, to lay the foundation for the future. We have Lillard. We need two more high lottery picks.
Alternate version: Max offer to Tobias Harris, sign Ed Davis, Derrick Williams, CJ Watson.
Lillard/Watson/Frazier
Henderson/McCollum/Crabbe
Harris/Aminu
Davis/Williams/Vonleh
Leonard/Plumlee/Kaman

We have $27M in cap space how is it alive?Just pointing out--this result is still alive. The twitters say that Orlando won't match a max offer. Here's hoping Neil gives him one.![]()

Its a question.. answer bruhIs that a poorly-punctuated question or a poorly-phrased statement?

I thought you were saying DeAndre and HarrisWhat don't you understand? Assuming LA leaves, we still have enough cap space after signing Aminu/Davis to max out Harris if he wants to come here, with space left over for a couple other guys. Pretty simple.
I thought you were saying DeAndre and Harris
I'd like Kaman for Hibbert then maxing out Harris. No, that was my scenario #3, but that's dead now. Scenarios #1 & 2 involved Davis and either Jordan or Harris.

It'll be real interesting to see what Olshey has in mind. If LA leaves maxing out Tobias would be an option I'd like to see.

Blake?
We need to add wings to that roster. Done right, we could be an interesting team in a year or two if a couple of guys take a major step
He was traded
