If Spurs get Durant, we get Gasol

No way Gasol comes to Portland. We're cash money leverage.

I actually like the idea of Gasol, other than I assume it means we cut ties with every young RFA, which makes me ask, "What'd be the point?"

We'd be better off staying status quo and letting these guys gel over a few years than to dive in on an aging (though quite productive) vet PF for a few extra wins in the short-term.

Gasol would be damned to come here lol

Lot of teams are obviously not concerned with his age. They are all looking at the 16-11-4-2 stat line from last year.
I have to admit, it's not bad for a 35 year old.

Supposedly the Warriors are about to get Durant. Does that mean we get Bogut?

Bogut makes 11. I guess I can handle him for a year. It would be worth it to watch him takes some cheap shots on the Warriors players.

Warriors get Durant.
Spurs get Gasol.
We get BOBAN!!!!
Or maybe Ezeli. Or Boban AND Bogut - call them BoBo.

Durant isnt going to the Spurs so this thread is moot.

Honestly.... why do we post threads like this! I think I can get us a group rate from a BDSM mistress.

Warriors get Durant, but we got our Durant-stopper and at only 60% what Durant will cost! That's called buying smarter.

I would love to get Bogut. I had never really thought of him leaving gs, but that would be cool!

His game isn't predicated on his athleticism. He's like Larry Bird; he gets by on guile.

The Warriors would need to trade him to clear room for Durant.

Personally I can't stand that m'effer. He fits into that whiney Golden State Moving Pickers mentality too well to leave. I've actually loathed the guy ever since the fight with Freeland.

Dame and CJ would benefit greatly from his well-honed ability to set moving picks and get away with it.
