So who wins? Illinois. Illinois floods in from the West, with their focus on the north/south respectively South Carolina and New York are caught a bit off guard, and since they try and shift their defenses against Illinois, while still trying to gain ground against each other, their forces are spread too thin and Illinois gains control of the Eastern seaboard.During the course of this, the back end of Illinois falls and Minnesota-Iowa fall to Montana.Montana was unable to invade further into Illinois territory, because California had taken Washington and Idaho from them and was about to have their home state invaded and needed to fall back and regroup.Texas takes Alabama, Tennessee, and Colorado.At this point, California and Illinois have the advantage, having their back-end's secured by the coastline, California is more secure, however, because the gulf coast doesn't leave them open to naval attack and Hawaii is staying where they are at the moment. Montana, short on supplies and manpower, is invaded and overrun by California. California also takes Wyoming and Utah.Illinois regains Iowa and Minnesota, and presses further into the Dakotas and Nebraska.Texas isn't idle during this, taking Florida from Illinois and Arizona from California.With Montana thwarted, both Illinois and California can shift focus on Texas. Taking back Florida and Arizona respectively, Illinois and Cali would then squeeze in on Texas until finally California took Texas, splitting the country virtually down the middle.The Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama and all to the East is Illinois.Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and all to the West would belong to California.Hawaii has invaded and taken Alaska. You forgot about them didn't you?Illinois takes Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico.California takes Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.Now Illinois has a section of California cut off by holding New Mexico (hey, it's cleaner than regular Mexico). And California fights to get its supply lines reconnected between the two. Unfortunately all they can take back is New Mexico, while Illinois take Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.In a worst spot than before, and holding onto Texas by a thread, the Golden State makes a surprise Northern push into Montana and takes it. However Illinois is not distracted and is content to take Texas while giving ground up north.Illinois takes New Mexico and Idaho, effectively cutting off California again. And the strategy works brilliantly again. While California fights to take back Idaho, and succeeds, Illinois has taken Arizona and Utah.In desperation, California makes a push into Arizona, as it's homeland is exposed, Illinois, smart as they are, takes Washington and Oregon.California, down to 3 states, with the northern part directly exposed to invasion pulls back and makes its last stand while Illinois takes Nevada and Arizona easily. The call it a last stand for a reason, and Illinois finally topples the battle wary Californians.With the continental United States in lockdown, Illinois gathers it's resources, and all out blitzes the islands of Hawaii and Alaska at the same time, easily dominating both and becoming the supreme state. The country is renamed Great Illinois and Chicago is the new capital.Eventual Winner: Illinois.
 
I was interested in seeing where we (Washington) would be in all of this, only to read the first line and see we'd have no chance. For our sake, I hope this never happens. Haha.
 
No way Montana would take over the North Dakota Air Force. Russia has one of their 7 missile things pointed at our base for a reason.

ND has a small population that would easily be overrun by SD, much less Montana.
 
There's no way Illinois could take on half the states in the country. Half is a beneficial taking for that matter.

You all forgot Maryland... we have the Naval Academy, bitches. Plus we have the largest into land water resource in the U.S. plus Baltimore is a huge port AND is right by the federal government where they keep the reserves and secret intel on all the states!

If Texas and Cali teamed up, they would win it. They could overpower Nevada and Arizona, and form one big team. From there it would be easy. Head north, and screen east. It wouldn't take long. If everyone was for themselves, they couldn't win.
 
New Mexico would actually probably win. Have you seen the Hills Have Eyes? Those genetically mutated people are intense!

There's no way you can go by gangs. Gangs are for faggot lowlifes who can't fend for themselves in the real world, so they have to hurt or kill others to get by.If you were to go by gangs, there's no way you can count out NJ, Florida, Michigan, or Cali. I can't vouch for Cali because they also account for 9 of the safest 25 cities in the USA.

The thing is gangs don't mean shit if it was a war. Gangs aren't big enough to warrant saying that they can fight a war and regardless, they would rather fight each other than unite to defend a state.Even state militias could kick a gang's ass.

If you read the sub-headline as follows, "They're a violent force in 33 states and counting," you'd see there are more of these gangs in over 33 states.
