By the way, if LA leaves this summer, I'm quitting.
Very possible. Tbe late season collapse and a first round exit might be too much
Aldridge lives in Texas. This is from Forbes tax info for athletes. What is state tax like in Oregon? How would his max deal with the Blazers compare to a max deal from someone like the Mavs after taxes ... I don't believe there is a state tax in Texas.
The Oregon Tax code means very little other than he plays more games here.
Aldridge has to show that he can get the Blazers to the finals multiple times before we can call him the best blazers ever. It's not just about stats. He gets more years and more money from us. He's got good developing talent around him. He is on his way to be becoming the best Trail Blazer ever. Plus, he has the built in excuse that Wes was hurt. Plus, this is just a really tough Western Conference, BUT I think we will win in the first round.
Too soon to say that. Love very well might end up in the finals this year with a chance to win. The Cavs are playing very good ball right now and they matchup well against a lot of teams. Not only that even if they don't win it all this year they will have enough success that Love would be a fool to leave most likely. That team might gel and win it all in the next 2-3 years. I personally think all the Love and Lebron talk is a media thing and we as fans of other teams just want it to be true sooo very badly. Those guys are pro's trying to win. James will be in the hunt this year, Bet on it.No. Look at what happened to Love when he left his team to play with the best player in the world.
The real question might be: Will Mathews be the same player after his injury?Likely not, unless its in horrifying fashion and Wes and rolo leave first maybe
