If you could get rid of one state...what one would it be?

Some of my major candidates. 1. Texas - We would lose an international stereotype (well not really a stereotype). People all over the world make fun of Texans, it would give us more credability. We would lose a ton of racists and a ton of illegal Mexicans. We could strike gold as well, George W. Bush would be gone and maybe Cindy Sheehan as well. 2. Utah - It's the state thats about 100 years behind the rest of us. Their politcians are as corrupt and mindblowingly scary as the Nazi's were. We would finally get rid of the Jazz basketball team (a disgrace to have an NBA team in Utah). We would get rid of mormons and tons of racist religious nuts. 3. California - Nothing pisses me off more than a hippy. Getting rid of California would rid this country of about half our hippies. There political system is also a mess and I wouldn't mind losing a few of them. The biggest plus, all those douchebags from Laguna Beach will be gone! YES! Those are my big three.

Why would you want to get rid of California? It's a very beautiful state, it has the largest state population in the U.S. and it has a couple of very nice cities (LA, San Francisco, Oakland..)

I wouldn't get rid of a state really, but LA and Oakland/Frisco.... Lakers, Raiders, Giants, Dodgers...ugh. Or just get rid of the Notre Dame campus. Hate them.

I think ya'll are just jealous of the great state of Texas. Texas could leave the Union and be a country in its own right and be able to make it. Its the only State that ever was a Country before joining the Union. Texas is the best state hands down. I myself wouldnt get rid of a state. Just a couple of countries. Iraq, North Korea, Iran, etc.
