Probably.

Former Kentucky Wildcat and NBA veteran Rex Chapman has been arrested for an alleged theft at a Scottsdale Apple Store.

Chapman, 46, was arrested on Friday at approximately 1:45 p.m. after police stopped his vehicle in northeast Scottsdale.

The Apple store where the alleged thefts occurred is in the Scottsdale Quarter retail center at Scottsdale Road and Greenway Parkway.

Police began investigating the case in August when employees reported a series of shoplifting incidents involving the same suspect over a period of a few months.

The suspect was identified by multiple employees as Rex Chapman because of his previous celebrity status as an NBA basketball player.

Police said Chapman allegedly picked up items in the store and made it appear that he was paying for them with an iPhone app through the store's self-checkout system.

He would then leave the store without actually paying for the items. He allegedly took merchandise to a local pawn shop and sold it for cash.

Oops should probably go to OT. Pulled an ABM

Rex Chapman meets Wynona Ryder..well, it's not my job to police retail outlets but if it were a small, mom and pop shop I might let them know.

no, same standards that i'm expected to adhere to apply to them. worse they could easily afford the item, probably not on my budget.

My blazers fandom transcends any moral, U.S. Or International laws

I'm not sure on that, depends what mood i'm in. Probably not on all accounts except if its Sabonis, hell i'd just start handing Sabonis free stuff if he walked into a store I worked in.

I can see Sabonis going to the apple store, grabbing a 27" iMac on the display table but leaves the power cord and on the way out tells the apple genius "THIS IS MINE NOW" ( heavy Russian accent).

I saw Sabonis buying a fax machine at Office Depot on MLK back in the day.

I would take the Blazer player to a coffee shop for a healthy square meal, so that he wouldn't spend my handout on alcohol. I don't believe in handouts. Then I'd ask him for some free tickets.

No, but I wouldnt likely turn in anyone for any non-violent theft. I might try and get a pic of it for S2 or TMZ, but that's about it.

I would turn anyone in. I don't care if he was a famous blazer either.

I'd ignore it unless it were Denny. This assumes that Denny would be a Blazer player.

MF's don't pay me to be security in their store so I'm not snitching on anyone... Now if I worked there...

I'm not the police. I would look the other way and let the store and the authorities deal with it. There's no way I would rat out Lillard.

Why the hell did you just throw Lillard into this?!?
