....as, say, a last request, what would it be?

Me? I'm kinda leaning towards a Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale (hmmm.....now that I think of it, fitting name under those circumstances. ;) )

None, I can't stand beer. Can I get a Crispin cider instead?

Perhaps, a Pyramid Outburst Imperial IPA. (8.5%)

Alaskan Amber, but I'd prefer a Don Julio Anejo or dram of Macallan 18.

scrimshaw!

What the hell happened to him anyway? Did he go to jail or something?

 Not that i know of. I think he still posts on O-Live, though.

Man do I hate beer. I have tried for years to develop a taste for it, but just can't. Not sure what it is about them I don't like, so I can't try something with less or more hops, barley, etc.

hmmm, good question. I had Mirror Pond, Black Butte Porter and Mac 'n Jacks African Amber for my wedding, so I'd say one of those three. Or maybe Dead Guy.

Pliny the Elder Imperial IPA (Russian River Brewing)
or
Vortex IPA (Fort George Brewing)
or
RPM IPA (Boneyard Brewing)

try a strongbow cider and let me know if it's too sweet.

I don't want to be a cider drinker, I want to be able to drink beer with my buddies instead of always having to order hard liquor. I will try it though and tell you what I think

Just to list off a beer as well, gf loves Ninkasi Slayer

Mac N' Jack for me! Everytime I'm home that is one of the first things I really want. My last weekend as a student in Pullman one of the local bars was trying to kill their kegs before christmas break and offered pitchers of the stuff for $3. That was a good night!

Interesting choices all around.

I'd go with Abita Amber or Lazy Magnolia's Southern Pecan ... that's the bread'n'butter. No need to get too obscure with it.

Never heard of Alaskan or Mac N' Jack. I'll definitely have to try those next time I'm up in the northwest.

It's a great beer. Very very hoppy! Very hard to find and sells out a day or so after stores get it.

I remember it from a beer fest years back and it was my favorite of the fest. Haven't ever found it anywhere though.

Celebration Ale is one of my favorites. Stone IPA, Torpedo, Ranger all good. I normally don't go for anything with spices but I just tried Elysian Great Pumpkin Imperial IPA and it was pretty damn good.
