OT ILLEGAL IMMGRANTS

Welcome to our community

You're talking about misdemeanors even if they entered illegally. And you don't know they entered illegally until they are adjudicated.
Not counting the misdemeanors, undocumented immigrants commit a serious crime at a lower rate than U.S. citizens. I can back that up with a credible link if you need one.
Doesn't matter in the least.

Who would ever guess that people would want to stay out of trouble so they can keep working to send money home. That is why most of them come here. To take from Americans without being caught.

That seems like a pretty sour outlook to me.

Looks pretty unreal to me.
It is about the most factual statement you'll see on this forum.

They don't come for welfare. They come because they want to work and provide a better life for their families. Anyone who denies that is being silly.

I never have denied it. Again, reality is a real bitch.

Unfortunately in this world for that to happen they have to take jobs and resources from Americans.

Sure there are jobs that we don't want to do...ESPECIALLY for the money.

Those aren't the only jobs they take.

Sure there are jobs that we don't want to do...ESPECIALLY for the money.

Perhaps not. It is only true when there is someone here to take the job at the wage offerred
The next step logically is to offer a higher wage. That step was not taken when the position was filled.

You've got to remember the variables.

There are plenty of lazy ass Americans and welfare programs to take care of them.

That's just a couple of the variables.

Seriously though that's mostly my point and it is hard to state when the money those jobs pay now is directly related to the decades of employers taking advantage of illegals.

Parents of Tennessee man, 22, allegedly killed by illegal immigrant seek stronger border security

By Frank Miles | Fox News

Parents speak out after son was killed by suspected illegal immigrant in Tennessee

The parents of a 22-year-old Tennessee man who was killed after a suspected illegal immigrant allegedly swerved into oncoming traffic spoke to Fox News Monday night about their grief and desire for stronger border security in America.

“It’s been the hardest thing of our lives, I can’t even explain it,” Wendy Corcoran said on "Hannity," noting border security isn’t being taken seriously enough. Pierce Kennedy Corcoran, the son of Knoxville Fire Department Capt. D.J. Corcoran, was killed in a head-on car crash last month.

Franco Cambrany Francisco-Eduardo, 44, was charged with criminally negligent homicide and driving without a license or insurance, and he was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

He is set for a preliminary hearing Thursday, The Knoxville News Sentinel reported.

The mom told Sean Hannity she and her husband taught their children to be responsible, and the alleged negligent suspect didn’t abide by the same responsibility that Pierce did.

His obituary noted her son was a promising, well-rounded man: “In his 22 years, he tried his hand at every sport possible, developing a love of golf, soccer, tennis and running 2 marathons in 2017. He became an advocate for eating healthy and exercising daily. He was in the process of completing his personal trainer certification.”

Hannity read a letter she wrote that said her son deserved better than a senseless death, and that immigrants who come to the U.S. ought to come legally and become responsible citizens.

Her husband, Capt. Corcoran, added: “We are not a hating people. We love, and we rally behind people — the underdogs who come here to America and succeed legally, and that’s what we want.”

CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR PUSHES SWEEPING NEW HEALTH-CARE PLAN TO HELP ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

He said legal immigration shouldn’t be a partisan issue, and his son’s alleged killer was in America for 14 years in “the shadows,” making no attempt “to become a legal, law-abiding citizen.”

Wendy said, “Our son’s life meant something, and our government makes it feel as if it didn’t — that somebody who had no right to be here matters more.”

She said she felt re-victimized by the system, and blamed the government for the cracks in the system.

“In manufacturing, if you manufacture a product, and it is killing people, and it is hurting them, they will issue a recall. We have a system that has a flaw. We have a flaw in the system, and there needs to be a recall. There needs to be a do-over,” her husband added. “We need to stop the conveyor belt — stop the manufacturing.”

“Crisis” of Seriously Ill Migrants Slams Border Patrol — TB, Pneumonia, Influenza, Parasites

Weeks after mainstream media outlets reported that illegal immigrants don’t bring disease into the United States, the Border Patrol reveals that it is getting slammed daily with dozens of illegal immigrants carrying “serious illnesses.” This includes tuberculosis, influenza and pneumonia. In fact, a Guatemalan migrant who died in U.S. custody on Christmas Eve had Influenza B, a virus that causes respiratory infections.
Federal agents are referring 50 illegal immigrants a day for urgent medical care, according to figures obtained by Washington D.C.’s
conservative newspaper. Authorities say “it’s unlike anything they’ve ever seen before.” Many of the migrants have tuberculosis, parasites or the flue, the feds confirm. There are also lots of pregnant women about to give birth. The article quotes Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Kevin McAleenan saying that most of the illegal immigrants were sick when they arrived at the U.S. border. “Many were ill before they departed their homes,” McAleenan said. “We’re talking about cases of pneumonia, tuberculosis, parasites. These are not things that developed urgently in a matter of days.”

A separate story published by a mainstream newspaper on New Year’s Eve discloses that in the last few weeks of 2018 more than 450 illegal immigrants required medical attention for illnesses. More than half were children. In the piece CBP Commissioner McAleenan refers to the situation as a “crisis.” Here’s an excerpt from the article: “The ill migrants have been arriving with all kinds of ailments, many with flu or pneumonia that can be particularly pervasive and dangerous this time of year.” It proceeds to reveal that 17 illegal immigrants have been hospitalized and that the Coast Guard has been deployed to help, sending medical teams to Border Patrol sectors getting bombarded with sick migrants. They include Yuma and Tucson, Arizona as well as the Rio Grande Valley.

It’s unbelievable that a “news” narrative can change so quickly in just a few weeks. Right before Christmas the mainstream media proclaimed illegal immigrants don’t bring disease into the United States. In various articles reporters took it a step further by claiming that migrants actually help fight disease. One story, published by NBC news and reiterated by various other outlets, focused on a study commissioned by a medical journal. One of the researchers received lots of print for declaring that migrants spreading disease is a “false argument” used to keep them out. The editor of the medical journal that conducted the study was quoted saying this: “In too many countries, the issue of migration is used to divide societies and advance a populist agenda.” The biased coverage marked a great example of the mainstream media distorting information to promote a liberal agenda.

Judicial Watch has interviewed medical experts that confirm illegal immigrants do indeed pose a serious public health threat to the U.S. by bringing dangerous diseases into the country. This includes tuberculosis, dengue and Chikungunya. After returning from covering the Central American caravan along the Guatemala-Honduras border, Judicial Watch spoke with a prominent physician in a border state who warned that the migrants will undoubtedly bring infectious diseases into the U.S. Among them are extremely drug resistant strands of tuberculosis and mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and chikungunya that are widespread in the region.

The same week Judicial Watch published the story about the caravan health threat a major newspaper reported on the health crisis created by the influx of Venezuelans fleeing to neighboring countries. The migrants are spreading malaria, yellow fever, diphtheria, dengue, tuberculosis and AIDS throughout South America. Many of the diseases had been considered eradicated in the neighboring Latin American countries, according to government officials cited in the article, which states that “contagion from Venezuela’s economic meltdown is starting to spread to neighboring countries—not financially, but literally, in the form of potentially deadly diseases carried among millions of refugees.” As an example, the story reveals that “measles reappeared with a vengeance” in a Brazilian city near the Venezuelan border that had declared the highly contagious airborne disease “vanquished” nearly two decades ago. “Measles is already spreading beyond the Brazilian Amazon to other Brazilian states, as well as Colombia, Peru and as far south as Argentina, according to recent Pan American Health Organization reports,” the article states. “Other diseases racing through communities in Venezuela are now crossing borders and raising concerns among health authorities as far away as the U.S.”

Years ago, when Barack Obama let tens of thousands of illegal immigrant minors into the country, health experts warned about the serious hazards to the American public. Most of the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) came from Central America, like the current caravan, and they crossed into the U.S. through Mexico, in the same way that the caravan expects to. Swine flu, dengue fever and Ebola were among the diseases that the hordes of UACs brought with them, according to lawmakers and medical experts interviewed by Judicial Watch during the influx. At the time, a U.S. Congressman, who is also a medical doctor, told Judicial Watch about the danger to the American public as well as the Border Patrol agents forced to care for the UACs. The former lawmaker, Phil Gingrey, referred to it as a “severe and dangerous” crisis because the Central American youths were importing infectious diseases considered to be largely eradicated in this country. Many migrants lack basic vaccinations such as those to prevent chicken pox or measles, leaving America’s young children and the elderly particularly susceptible, Gingrey pointed out then. To handle the escalating health crisis the CDC activated an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) that largely operated in secrecy.

I think I've got one of these things. I was telling my boss today that today I felt like I normally do when I get sick, but this started Wednesday. Thursday I almost took myself to the hospital.

I never miss work when I get a cold.

Obviously illegal immigrants, as inanimate objects do not kill, or do anything for that matter.

Families of Americans killed by illegal immigrants take issue with claim Trump is ‘manufacturing a crisis’

By Greg Norman | Fox News

Angel mom demands action on the border wall
Julie Golvach, whose son Spencer was shot and killed by a four-time deported illegal immigrant, calls the opposition from Democrats 'absolutely ridiculous.'

Several "Angel parents" -- the mothers and fathers of U.S. citizens killed by illegal immigrants -- are accusing top Democrats of being out of touch with “regular America” after they claimed President Trump is “manufacturing a crisis” at the border to win support for the construction of his long-promised wall.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Ca., used the 'manufacturing' language Tuesday night during their tag-team rebuttal to Trump’s Oval Office address -- his first ever -- on border security. The Democratic duo argued the president was merely trying to strike fear into the hearts of Americans in an attempt to get his central campaign promise across the finish line. But that spin didn't sit well with those who've lost loved ones due to illegal immigration.

“I’m just wondering if Nancy Pelosi had one of her children or grandchildren assaulted in the same way that my son was assassinated if she would speak the same way. I just wonder about that,” Jeffrey Mazin, the father of Alexander Mazin, told Fox News’ ‘The Ingraham Angle’.

Alexander Mazin, 27, was shot and killed at a gym parking lot in San Diego in February last year. The suspected shooter,
Ernesto Castellanos Martinez, is reported to be the ex-boyfriend of the woman Mazin had recently started dating. Martinez, investigators say, is also a twice-deported illegal immigrant who has since fled to Mexico.

“The man straddled him and pumped four more bullets into his chest. My son died there in the parking lot, like a rat in the street,” his father
told Fox News last year. “Obviously every time I tell it, the emotion pours out of me.”

Julie Golvach, the mother of Spencer Golvach – who was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant at a traffic light in Houston in 2015 – also told Fox News that Schumer and Pelosi’s comments struck a nerve.

“It may seem 'manufactured' to them because they are sitting safely behind walls, but for those of us out in regular America, we are victims, we are prone to the victimization of illegal aliens and crime,” she said on ‘Fox & Friends’ Wednesday morning.

Trump, in a speech focused on what he described as a “growing humanitarian and security crisis at our southern border,” appeared to reference parents such as Mazin and Golvach. Trump interacted with "Angel parents" frequently while he was campaigning for the White House, often invoking their departed sons and daughters during speeches and speaking about the parents on a first-name basis. His Tuesday remarks were delivered in a similar spirit.

“For those who refuse to compromise in the name of border security, I would ask, imagine if it was your child, your husband or your wife whose life was so cruelly shattered and totally broken,” he said. “To every member of Congress, pass a bill that ends this crisis. To every citizen, call Congress and tell them to finally, after all of these decades, secure our border.”

If you are really worried about safety and crime then what we need to do is allow all the immigrants in, and deport all the current Americans.
