So, for the past few years I've been a joker/athlete kind of guy who wrapped himself around sport and such. Yeah, I also love shows like Lost and CSI. However, over the past weekend, a friend of mine from up north introduced me to a Japanese soundtrack by a composer naked Taku Iwasaki. I was immediately hit by it, and I jutted to youtube.com straight away to see his original TV shows.Not to my surprise, the man did soundtracks for animes. This one in particular was called Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin) and I must say, after watching the entire thing, I was floored. Not in years have I been hit so hard by that of film.Soon after, while being bored on a Sunday afternoon, I decided to revisit some Anime roots with Dragonball Z (We've all seen it). Again, to my surprise, the show which I once thought was gay I now feel is pretty entertaining. I've made it part of my schedule to see an episode or two a day (They're each only about 20 minutes) I just thought it was so strange for my entertainment choices to change so much int he course of a few days, and my respect for Anime raised ten fold. Anyone else the slightest bit interested in Anime?f*cking Japanese people!

I think Anime is one of the gayest things to ever be put out on TV.But alot of people and enjoy it and I'm not going to talk bad about it.

I hate that stuff. I hate how their faces turn when the have a different expressions. The mouths get all big, loose their eyeballs, and the style of talk and be weird also.

Yeah, ive tried to watch one on Adult Swim and I hate them as well. Its just a whole bunch of spikey haired asians throwing fireballs and stuff like that.

I take japanese for my language and we have to fcking watch anime every friday.. in japanese... lol.. good thing for the subtitles.. its pretty boring tho.. the only one I really like is full metal alchemist, because its pretty interesting.. but we some hella gay ones after dat.. the last one we watchd was....... uhhh I dont remmeber wut its called

A lot of people must like anime. The biggest group on Youtube is an anime group, and it has 8,023 members and 12,195 videos. Crazy.I really don't like it. The animation is really weird, and everyone always looks the same. Pixar, anyone?

I watch anime, Bleach and Naruto are good. I usually just download the torrents though. I haven't really watched much anime in a while though.

I get the feeling many people here have ignorantly judged anime on DragonBall Z and Pokemon. I'm no expert, but I know some of the more serious animes out there do not involve "spiky hair" and "fireballs"
