As an aside, we're in the process of putting my wife's mother in an assisted living center. She's fighting that tooth and nails. We're tricking her, though, and getting her a cat she can have there. She LOVES cats. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

You should know by now that posters making up shit out of thin air isn't a valid reason for someone to go away. As much as it is beyond pathetic that some people feel the need to continue doing a character on a website, it's not against the rules.

It's pathetic, childish, immature, dumb, idiotic, stupid, moronic, sophomoric, low-brow and signs of someone who probably shouldn't be allowed around children, but it's not against the rules for a poster to act that way.

I deleted the post and then I thought about just what a vile and hateful thing that was to post so I undeleted it for all to see. I think it reflects very poorly on him. Well beyond his usual BS. He posts shit like this, I delete it, then he claims he never posted it in the first place and is a victim.

I will remove it later today.

There's no think about it, it does reflect poorly on the character he's playing. But he's gone full on Q, so that ship has sailed. No one takes anything he says seriously and honestly, he adds nothing to the board as a whole.

Maris has sent me the following PM and is taking exception to me saying his post was vile and hateful. I have no interest in debating this with him. If anyone else would like to calmly and in a noninsulting manner explain why his post is not accurate it would be greatly appreciated.


WTF? If there's anything vile and hateful in my post please highlight the specific wording you are referring to and I will happily edit my post. I have made this request before and feel it's the least I deserve from someone who publicly accused me of being vile and hateful, then blocked me from responding.​

Seriously, does anyone on this board have the ability to read a post without mentally-inserting secret meanings and "between the lines" assumptions they want to attribute to me and others?​

1. To my knowledge, everything I wrote referring to Gender Dysphoria is thoroughly supported by mental healthcare professionals. (I fully support public funding to provide mental healthcare for every American Citizen who seeks it out.)​

2. The alarming rise of sexual assaults inflicted upon children since the sudden onset of mixed restrooms in public schools is well-documented by criminal cases recently in the news. (Nowhere did I suggest these crimes had any relation to Gender Dysphoria. Clearly, they are the predictable result of removing the concept of separate restrooms for separate sexes.​

I have absolutely nothing against people struggling with their concept of identity or sexuality. We all struggle with our place in the world at some time in our lives, mostly in childhood and young adulthood.​

Those with mental illnesses struggle horribly and deserve far better treatment than to be scooped up into political warfare by criminally-manipulative opportunists seeking personal attention to make themselves feel important.​

Having read your post, heard Slys response to it, and read your follow up PM, I can tell why what you said is wrong, and thus why Sly remarked that it was vile hateful.

You insenuauted that Transgenderism doesn't exist, and is instead Gender Dysphoria. You further state that gender dysphoria and thus transgenderism in your definition is nothing more than delusion.

Gender Dysphoria is not a mental illness and neither is being transgendered. To say that they are is discriminatory and yes hateful.

Gender Dysphoria is a feeling of psychological distress experienced by the some transgender people and is a disjunction between their sex assigned at birth and ones actual gender identity.

For someone who says they have nothing against people struggling with their concept of identity or sex, your post is quite disrespectful and unfactual.

You offer no evidence to your despicable claim of bathroom rapes in schools by transgendered people.

I can see why Sly had the reaction he did.
 
Gender dysphoria is a relatively new mental health term for the condition some transgender people have of feeling uncomfortable with the disconnect between their gender identity and their physical biological genitalia.
