Down the stretch, we haven't been able to beat the playoff teams- Denver, Phoenix, Dallas- and Roy is wildly inconsistent (Aldridge is carrying this team). Miller shoots too much for a guy who's not a good shooter. And he also came out and said that we had no chance vs the Lakers (the team we're likely facing). I want to hear him saying "We believe we can beat anyone in the West" but that belief is not there. I believe we are good enough to beat the Lakers but if our point guard doesn't think so, we're screwed.

Yknow, when the Warriors beat the Mavs, they didn't "believe" they could beat em. They KNEW they could beat em. If Miller is already saying it's impossible to beat the Lakers and he's never been out of the first round, how on earth can we get it done?

Who says we're playing the Lakers?

Could you stop intentionally missing what Andre was saying and order a pizza.

How do you know what Andre was saying? You have your interpretation like I have mine. The thing is.. you just don't say something like that. That's not leadership. That's be cynical and jaded because you've never won a playoff series.

It's very likely. And if we don't face the Lakers, we'll face Utah, Denver, or Dallas. We don't look like a team that can beat those guys.

When you look at it, we're the team that everyone in the West wants to face. Sad.

Good thing the Thunder beat us too.

Oh wait. Try again, kid.

Yeah, you're probably right.

Therefore, you should stay home Sunday...watch the game...and order in pizza. :hungry:

Miller was right. Just look at the refs tonight. Obviously had an agenda other than calling a fair game, and the order came from high up (aka davey stern). Miller knows how this league works. I'm not sayin I think its ALL rigged, but the NBA will definitely benefit financially if the Lakers get out of the first round. I still think we can beat them if it ends up that way, but it will be 8 on 5.

Andre Miller is a false flag member of the Blazers. He'll be helping the Lakers win, if the Blazers play the Lakers. Knowing this, and being smart, Miller said the Blazers can't beat the Lakers. If you think the Blazers can win with their starting point guard working for the opposition team, you're crazy.

We won't be playing the Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.

So? That proves that we are good enough to beat playoff teams, and the Thunder are one of the hotter teams as we finish the home stretch. We were screwed the days Oden and Pryzbilla got season ending injuries. It really isn't expected we get out of the first round, though, I see no reason we still cannot beat Dallas. It took a 40 point effort from Dirk and just about a poor shooting night from everyone but Aldridge and Rudy. Although, I must admit I am getting worried about Roy. I have not seen him have as many horrible games as he has had this year. He does need to start stepping it up or we are really toast.

It's because he's still not comfortable playing with Miller.

Miller has been good for this team, but it really hurts at times that he can't shoot the 3, or at least a consistent 15 footer.

Some have called Miller the team's MVP this season.

Well you could say that in light of him being one of only two guys who played every game this season. But overall, what he giveth, he takes away. He's terrible shooter and he often takes tough shots over looking for the open man. He also gets stuck taking shots that aren't in his repertoire at the end of shotclocks. This team has never quite clicked. Sadly. And we've given up a lot of depth along the way.

No thanks, in part, to Oden and Joel going down and the need to get a replacement big.

Miller's actually a dead-eye 3-pt shooter, he's just been in a slump...for the past 11 years...but he'll break out of it soon I'm pretty sure.

The refs were bad but the Blazers shooting was worse.

Put the blame on the players for this one.

No doubt. I'm starting to wonder if it was worth it though. If Camby doesn't help us win a playoff series, then we should've stuck with Howard.
