"against stupidity even the gods are helpless".

I guess the board needed some more activity #FakeAccount #SlyPokerGod #HCP #Druid #MayTheShwartzBeWithYou

Were you happy when LA was here wanting everything to go through him? LA was Pacca but leaving a place where he was King because he believed the grass would be greener in the country of Texas because he was naturally greedy and look what happened to him now. Sad.

Seriously, this is up there with some of Aesop's Fables.

Actually it is an aesop’s fable.

My grandmother used to read me those stories when I was a little kid.

That is the one I never forgot for some reason and always go back to when I feel jealousy or greed.
It’s sctually helped me a lot in life.

Obviously I changed it quite a bit, nor remembering the word for word story, but the message is loud and clear in my mind.

Best Blazer point guard of All-Time and you are tired of him. Maybe you should wait till we find someone better before ever posting again.

At the end of the season after another 1st round exit: "hey, it was only our full first year with Nurkic, we will be better"

After another 1st round exit: "hey, it was only Caleb Swanigan 2nd year in the league, we will be better"

After another 1st round exit: "hey, it was only the first season in which Zach Collins started, we will be better"

5 years later with Lillard 32 years old: "Dame still got snubbed from the ASG, only here in Portland we appreciate his true value, who cares if we lost another series of playoffs, Dame won his 3rd Magic Johnson award!!!!"

After you stop posting:
"Thank God, I couldn't stand that guy!"

Truth hurts, I know, it's easier to make fun of someone who's trying to analyze things as they are than admit that this team is stuck in mediocrity and that there's no room to dream like we would like to do because that is what sports are about.

What is your qualifications for dropping knowledge on me?! Youre really acting like you are enlightened compared to people on here who have played basketball at a high level??? You don't know how to analyze a pile of shit, let alone the game of basketball.

Playing basketball at a high level doesn't always translate to knowing basketball, and I'm not necessarily referring to you.

You do realize they have made the second round 2 of the last 4 years right?

The only "signature" win of this Blazers era was the one vs Houston after that they got blown out by the Spurs, the Grizzlies and the Warriors.

The one against the Clippers is ridiculous, they were without Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

We were never and i mean NEVER really close to a championship.
There's only 1 champion every year but you have at least to be in the conversation for the trophy, something we weren't in the past years, we have always been 1st or 2nd round material depending on the matchup or injuries so basketball purgatory.

I have NO problem with the truth, but what are you saying? Are just putting Dame on blast just to stir shit up? It isn't/won't be HIS fault that we don't advance or win a championship. It would be because the lack of talent around him. Explain what's your point?

This guys post are bugging me, but in all fairness, you have brought up that you played basketball at a "high level"......sorry but that doesn't translate really. I've been around NBA players that don't know shit about the game, they can dunk, but they don't understand it.

It's not only the talent around him, it's also his value, he's not a top tier PG and that hurts because he act like one and his contract weight like one.

If Lillard was the third of a trio with two other superstars I would be cool with him, but with him as "the man" you will NEVER win a championship,

His contract isn't out of line compared to other PGs in the league man. About right where he should be. As far as him "acting" like one, what is he supposed to do?

I wish Damian would play more like Stockton or Nash. Those guys averaged 9-13 FGA per game, but they were super efficient and created for their teammates. Damian takes 20 shots per game, and is shooting a poor percentage. This is the exact same problem that LaMarcus had.

The problem i have with this statement is it seems to be overlooking a number of very good teams. Early nineties they were pretty darn close to a championship. 2000 they were definitely in the conversation for a championship. 2006 they were going that way again. Then in 2011 the Mavs barely got by the Blazers and won. The Blazers were also in the conversation before Mathews got hurt in 2015.
The thing is you can say they were not going to beat Lebron or Curry or Jordan but that is plain fantasy. They were there and any team that is close can win. We watched that with GW's first championship in 40 years also. They pretty much played team after team that had lost players to injuries. They won. Blazers are rising. How high they go will be determined by trades and developing the players they have. But in the end it always takes luck to win a championship. ALWAYS!

Yup those inefficient shots LMA use to take is similar to what’s going on with Lillard this year

I warned a lot of my friends in the past about Lillard and his chucking. Glad folks are realizing it now

I was on LA's case for that long before it became popular around here to shit on him. Now I"m seeing the same thing with Damian and getting a similar reaction.

Can you imagine if Portland didn't have their head up their ass?

PG- Westbrook, Curry
SG- Durant, Connauhgton
SF- LeBron, Kawhi Leonard
PF- Greek Freak, Draymond
C- Anthony Davis, Boogie

Thank you for adding pat con in there. We needed a superstar to stay competitive in the tough western conference.

Hah!

I'm white, so I didn't have the athleticism required to not have Bball IQ lol.

Really? You wish Lillard played more like the two greatest point guards of all time? Who doesn't agree with that.

I wish CJ played more like MJ.

I wish Harkless played more like Pippen.

I wish any power forward on the Blazers played more like Tim Duncan.

I wish Nurkic played more like Bill Walton.

If all of our players played like some of the greatest players in NBA history we would be so fucking great!
