Those guys are robbing from the rich, fighting the man, or stealing from big banks.... you're ruining a community, so you're the opposite of those guys. You're stealing from the poor. You're the smokey. You're the evil corporation who is stealing from the people. You're basically the uni bomber.

ya see stealing is stealing.... and its always wrong but some people find it acceptable as long as its for a good cause. theres a bad guy in all of us which is why we cheer for bandits or bank robbers even though they are breaking the law. if you are saying im the smokey then your saying the mods are the bad guys breaking the rules.
 
All I gotta say is, it must be incredibly tiring to be you. I get tired of posting on here just because it's tiring to post and actually try to be a positive/likeable person (not that I'm always likeable. I know for a fact Ed O hates my guts /green).

don't you get tired of always trying to prove you're correct? or that everything is how you see it?

isn't that something you usually grow out of? you know, once you're about 23-24, you all the sudden realize 'wow, I was a douche back then.'

What you are doing isn't for a "good cause". You're creating a problem that wouldn't exist otherwise. Do you not see that? Your "I'm right and you're wrong" attitude is destroying this forum. Either it's intentional and you're a troll, or it's unintentional and you're completely blind. Coming after a loss and saying "I told you so... season over" or after Maurice Lucas died and saying "the team dishonored Mo" is insensitive, it's rubbing salt in the wound, and it damages the community. You either don't care, don't understand, or you're doing it on purpose.

MIXUM, you really should pay attention to this. It is a fairly common complaint against you. If you are the Blazers fan you claim to be, maybe a little introspection on your part would be in order.

Please. You guys put up with and practically encourage his antics just to drive activity on the board. Too bad the activity Mixum drives is purposely irritating and drives away posters and now multiple mods. If you guys truly cared about the well being and growth of this forum you'd ban his ass long ago instead of turning a blind eye for the sake of more (bullshit) threads and posts.

thank you to Nate, Nik and all the others who've taken a turn moderating. It would be great if posters could try avoiding the petty swipes at each other (and especially the mods) & argue sincerely instead of just trying to push people's buttons to help make this job less involved.

Shitty Iob but someone has to do it, for every one troll there's another one waiting to take its place. Banning is simply kicking the can down the road. I think a few simple rules could go a long way for this place, get it done Denny.
 
Why do people get so worked up about MIXUM? He's harmless. Just ignore his threads/posts, and if you stumble upon one, just pretend that you didn't read it.

Is everybody here really so weak that they can't handle a poster who lives outside of the community norm? He's the crazy drunk uncle that you tolerate, and eventually either you're in on the joke, or you ignore the joke. What does banning him accomplish, other than create a 'mob rule' atmosphere on this board.

Did you guys learn nothing from BBF? Bannings led to the migration here, and now people are advocating bannings here. It's dumb.
 
I'll also add, that if you want a heavily moderated forum with no bias to the moderating, that posters like jlprk, MickZagger, andalusian, and even myself would be ideal, since none of us have shown any inclination that we're here to be 'liked' by certain groups of people.

Since I was already asked to be a mod, and have no interest in it, I suggest that posters wanting more moderation ask that the strong personalities listed above be given the opportunity to clean up Rip City Two.
