One of the things I love about this place is the amount of leeway we're given in our posting. With it means that the individual has responsibility normally reserved for the mods. I'd like to see some posters understand that individual responsibility to the group as a whole. We're all lessened when the mods have to step in.

Someone like you Maxie who hides behind his posts pretending to be something he isn't. I've been upfront. Like I have said many times... Put your private info out or shut your mouth. All I have learned is your a coward. And you provoke just as much as anyone on here just much more subtle. You are the kind of person I despise. A know it all who is the biggest p..y of all.maybe you wanted to be a shrink but your not smart enough. Idk but I can tell you more about me if you wanna meet. Otherwise keep hiding in Denver.

It's funny how they hate me, wanna ban me, call me a troll, blame me for mods stepping down yet every thread turns into a thread regarding me. Amazingly this happens even when I don't post. We even have dip shits trying to diagnose me with personality disorders yet they have never spoken to me! Talk about hilarious.

I've posted plenty of personal info on this site. Frankly, probably too much.

As for your statements as what I am or what I must do, thank you for your opinion. If I provoke people on this site, it's unintentional. I probably don't have as much patience as I should have with those that post regarding economics in the OT forum, but none of us are perfect. Thanks for pointing out one of my shortcomings. I'll work on being better.

I'm awfully sorry you don't like me. I don't really think about you much at all other than how it affects the forum in which I enjoy posting.

I have zero interest in being a psychiatrist, although I do have keen interest in the field of behavorial economics and the Waltzian application of "Man" in international politics. I am, however, smart enough to know when to use "your" and when to use "you're".

As for meeting you in person, what would make you think I have any interest whatsoever? I have plenty of friends in the three-dimensional world, none of whom feel the need to garner attention through acting out. And I'm not hiding anywhere. Denver is on the map and my place on LO is on the same street at Kevin Pritchard's/Wes Matthews' place. Swing on by if you're DJing a bar mitzvah.
 
So Maxie can provoke but I can't respond? Maybe it's good you aren't a mod so you can't play favorites. Maxie is one of the biggest punks in here and mods ignore it,

Rudy, all I've asked is that you think about the group as a whole. It's great to have fun, but it doesn't have to be zero-sum. If I'm provoking you, it's unintentional. Now, what do you say we talk Blazers without the baiting?

I have to say, I disagree with other posters using a poster's full legal name in any post, even if it is known. If a poster wants to out his/herself and refer to themself by that name, then I think they should take the Nate Bishop route and allow full disclosure. It does seem kind of cowardly to continually invoke an "anonymous" poster's supposed real name, and I can see why it would upset him.

Rudy, I wasn't aware it bothered you to have your full name published. I thought you had been open about it before since you're a DJ for hire. I'll remove your last name from my previous post.

Now, can you try to not bait people with your post. Have the faith in yourself that you can get people to pay attention to you and your posts simply by playing it straight.

Edit: I just ran a search on it and couldn't find the post. If a mod finds it, please delete his last name for me. I didn't mean to cause trouble.

These two posts seem to be an admission that his intent is to violate the rules and certainly the spirit of the rules. His last post was the final straw, calling whoever as cowards was the nail in the coffin.

You may not think much of how the site is run, but we err on the side of the posters, and it's not my site to just do what I please.

Not purposely trying to act dense, I just think it is important to know what led to this result... His intent was to violate which "rules" and "spirit of the rules"?

1. All posters with honorable intentions are welcome.
2. This is a big site with a lot of members. You may not like every one of them. However, we expect everyone to at least respect each other.
3. Respect the moderators, global moderators, producers, commissioners, admins, and other staff members of SportsTwo.
4. Flame wars are not allowed. We do tolerate poking fun of one another in good fun, but hateful posts towards another poster are not allowed.
5. Trash talk is allowed. It's one thing to call Portland's NBA team the "Jailblazers" and another to call their fans idiots. The former is allowed, the latter is not.
6. SportsTwo is to be a work-friendly and family-friendly site. While there is no blanket rule on how to enforce this, it is completely the discretion of SportsTwo staff to enforce this rule and how to enforce it.
7. Everyone is here to offer their opinions, so be prepared to have people disagree with your opinions. There is a difference between attacking someone's post (their opinion) and attacking the poster with the latter not allowed. The staff is here to monitor for such occurrences.
8. Users who have multiple accounts will be publicly identified.
