I keep challenging Vince Carter to a footrace, but he refuses to accept. I think I can beat him. All I have to do if give a speedy PG the ball, and whoever can follow him down the court first wins. Carter has this reverse magnetism thing going, where he can't come within 20 feet of the leading PG.

Does not make any sense. There is no way you can go from Laker to Erect even if you are Kevin Bacon. The only way the two words can exist in the same sentence is if the words "is kryptonite to" appear between them.

We moved to Oregon when I was 5. That said, I did go to lots of Nets games when I lived in NYC. But I'm die hard Blazers fan all the way.

okay, I guess that's somewhat acceptable. So what about this character in "Bones"? Is he kind of like a Jewish Cary Grant?

The re-runs are on TNT. Do some research!
 
I'm not a regular on the show anymore though. So if you look for "Bones," you'll have to find episodes from the first three seasons.

you'll have to explain to me how to delete the shows that Mrs. Dumpy has already recorded and have filled the DVR to capacity.

Next, you'll have to explain to me how to get the DVR to find episodes of Bones automatically and record them.

Finally, you'll have to recommend a divorce lawyer.

I think you can sit through one episode of Bones. It's an entertaining show.

I bet Mrs. Dumpy would enjoy Bones. There's a lot of romantic tension and witty banter. (And really gross decaying bodies and various fluids and substances. Maybe you don't want to eat while you watch.)

You should get her to help you.

Now that "Survivor" has started up again, she probably doesn't have the time. Survivor, American Idol, Biggest Loser, and Amazing Race are her favorites, and now of course she is recording the new 90120. And probably the OC, too. And probably any other show that is meant for a 14-year-old girl. Gilmore Girls is off now, right?

Is "Bones" in one of those genres?

she's afraid of spiders . . .

actually, she did like X-Files. And she got through the recent movie which was pretty, uh, over the top.

I checked for you and the only repeat on TNT this week is an episode from this season that Eric is not in.

Try this. Pick an episode from seasons 1-3.

Oh--Angel is in it! Why didn't you say so? I could definitely sell her on it.

edit: oh, I see. the entire episodes are on hulu. Got it.
 
okay, i watched the pilot. it was pretty good, even though washington dc is never quite that sunny. Boreanaz is very watchable (although it was weird watching him walk around in sunlight).

I can kind of see why you say that I'm similar to Zach Addy, although I need to watch more; the pilot may not have been the best choice. are there any episodes in particular that feature the character?

The most recent one was "The Perfect Pieces in the Purple Pond."

Other ones that featured me were "The Pain in the Heart," "Judas On a Pole," and "The Wannabe in the Weeds"(I sing).
 
Thanks for sharing. It was very enjoyable, and I'm impressed by your ability. I think I need to watch the other episodes to comment on the character, though. There are some things I'm not really sure about yet (which has to do with the way the character was written, not the way you portrayed the role, if that makes sense--I'm focused on whether the character is like me or not).
 
Eric, you're lucky they only voted you "One of the Worst-Dressed People in Hollywood." I would have voted you, "The Worst."
