Iman Shumpert left the New York Knicks' game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night with a sprained left knee.
Shumpert injured the knee, the same one which sustained a torn ACL in his rookie year, when he tried to come to a stop while driving to the basket in the third quarter. He was immediately helped to the Knicks' locker room.
The Knicks said Shumpert will leave the team and travel back to New York to be re-evaluated. The Knicks have two games left on a four-game road trip.
