Is there a TRUE IMAX screen in Portland? Doing some research and am coming up with reviews saying that screens that CLAIM to be IMAX are really NOT!

Need to see SINNERS in TRUE IMAX. Saw a great breakdown by the director on how he shot it and now I’m very excited.

Nope. Not highest definition ones. But the ones we do have an Oregon are fine.

I think that is the list of theaters that could show the 70mm format that Oppenheimer was filmed on as it was intended. So the best IMAX theaters, as I understand it.
 
Thanks for your help. Most likely going to go to the Vancouver Mall theater. A lot of good reviews.

You know, the city should make it so the RG is it's own IMAX theatre. Imagine going to a movie there....

I STILL haven’t seen it FAMS! Worked picked back up and I’ve been slammed. Almost went to the big daddy IMAX theatre at Universal Studios with my son weekend before last and it was sold out all 3 days I was there! I think my only option is that Vancouver one that I hear is the best one around. Very bummed I can’t see it in 70mm.

Yeah the Regal Lloyd uses their imax screen on the new marvel movie now. AMC Van Mall GXL is probably best available in the Portland Metro at this point
