Ime Udoka convinced LA to go to the Spurs (1 Viewer)

Not that there aren't emotions involved, there are for all sports fans I would assume, but you are more right than you realize. It IS a business deal to them. They know they have fans that think more of it than that, but star players are gonna have fans where ever they go. IT is a business deal and the sooner we understand that any entity that deals with as much money as the NBA does, the easier I think it will be for some people to be able to move on.

I moved on when I wrote "Oops. I was wrong" in my prediction thread. lol.

Not gonna lie its been tough, was my favorite player since Clyde who also fled to Texas.

Rooted for them Rockets to win it all back then, wonder if the case will be the same with the Spurs.

Good thing I didn't buy one of those "Gimme Ime" shirts years ago.

Blazers fans love Ime Udoka for some reason. Odd to me, since I'd wager Ime considers himself a Spur much like Clyde considers himself a Rocket, with nary a loving thought to the loving Blazers fans.

I think people are trying really hard to find something to hate...

...Because nothing is lower than being compared to a woman? (except maybe being gay?) Says nothing about Aldridge but a lot about the poster(s).
I'm reminded of the black man who opened fire during a live news telecast, killing two people. Coworkers described him as always looking for ways to be offended. And assuming you are correct crandc, that Lamarsha is solely to do with being a woman on the court, well, what is your gripe? Women do suck at basketball compared to men on average, and not one woman has been or likely ever will be athletic or strong enough to make an NBA roster. So by implying that Lamarcus plays like a woman, one could aptly take it to mean that he isn't very good at basketball by comparison to his NBA counterparts; and though it is hyperbole in every sense, as Lamarcus is better than any woman in existence, the offended person should be Lamarcus, not the population of women who can't seem to accept their basketball inferiority.

exactly, and why would a woman take offense? She can do other things way better than lamarsha. Like cook, clean, bear children, and most of all, not act like a self absorbed c**t.

You two really aren't helping your case.

Jesus fucking christ. So posting on a message board that a comment is offensive is the same as killing two people? And you wonder why I think men act like assholes?

So you're saying we're all like OJ?

Well, I for one appreciate your efforts to avoid chauvinism and not generalize an entire group based on the actions of some...

That's sexist.

I will absorb the sins of all men. Blame me. All men are now freed from their sins as I die for them.

This is known as the "absorbent tampon" strain of religion.

I dare any of you to say all this stuff about inequality to someone by the name of Ronda Rousey...

That's all I have to say on this.
