What the Hell is your president seeking to gain by denying one of the most honorable Americans his security clearance?

John Brennan is an honest, honorable American patriot.

The honorable James Clapper is on the list next!!!!

People no longer working in the government don't need security clearance.

wrong...anyone who has had that kind of security access needs to be under a security clearance oath and they are an investment in our circle of information that can be called up in case of need. they're not just going to forget national secrets because they are not in charge anymore. I think 1.4 million americans have top secret security clearances....someone who's been head of nat'l security for 25 years has seen everything...pulling his clearance is just a Trump tantrum that serves no purpose but to stroke Trump's ego...it's what happens when you have a clueless president who just wants to endlessly campaign for his fans and be praised. whew......

Without security clearances they are prevented from discussing or testifying to congress top secret things they may have seen during the russian investigation.

Nope. Not necessary if you arent actively in government. This notion that people in the government need to be there or get benefits forever is bullshit.

benefits forever? they're assets to intelligence community but retirement doesn't mean you are active in govt...just means you posses information that is sensitive or could be.

you mean Dick Cheney and Haliburton? That's not the CIA....you think Amarossa, Kushner, Bannon, Ivanka, Amarossa, Sessions or Flynn would be trustworthy though right? Trump is such a great judge of character... I had a top secret clearance in the Navy....I didn't get these "forever" benefits for having one though..I got the same benefits as any other vet that didn't have the clearance.

Because Brennan knows. He knows what Trump has done. He knows what he is guilty of. And, he has spoken out against him. Trump can't have people with clearance running around that know about his treason and can help take him down. He sees Mueller getting periously close. He has to stop them at all costs, even at the expense of our country.

Brennan continually leaked classified information to his employer for money, which aided and abetted our adversaries.

Brennan illegally outed a US agent in Yemen for money.

Brennan started the whole Russian Collusion nonsense because he's so dense he didn't know Trump was joking about asking Russia to find Hillary's emails and it threw him into a panic.

Brennan is a Communist.

Brennan should die in prison, with Clapper, Rice, McCabe, Comey, Mueller, the Ohrs, the Clintons, Strozk and Page, Reid, Lynch, Holder,Biden, Kerry...
