OT In-N-Out Burger Is in the Early Stages of Opening a Restaurant in Tualatin

Welcome to our community

We finally went down to the Keizer location in April. Waited in line for 1:30...... it was crazy. Supply and demand FAMS!

The Habit is still better. They have A1 as a condiment.

whoopee, another over hyped hamburger joint. Portland already has plenty of good burger joints
The only two good hamburger joints in Portland, Gene and Joe's and the Carnival are both long gone. Even the Dairy Queen's flame broiled burgers don't taste anything near the same. Here's another factoid: When is ht last time you had a decent order of fries? Why fries aren't even golden brown and delicious anymore. They're kind of a pasty white color and often luke warm or room temperature. No, I'm willing to give In and Out a try.

Then you need to get out Lanny as burger joints have been exploding in Portland over the last several years and many that would put In and Out to shame. In and Out is decent, but nothing to go out of the way for.

Great but going out more doesn't narrow it down too much. Where were you suggesting? The North Pole? Saudia Arabia? Disneyland? What did you have in mind? Something more specific than 'out' please. There's a great big world outside of my house.
Anyhow, I can't go out anywhere until we get rid of Trump and get someone in there that knows his ass from a hole in the ground and who can get a handle on this virus.

It was a figure of speech lanny. If you are truly interested there are many reviews on the web to help decide.

Reviews are no good. I've tried places that had good reviews and was sorely disappointed. I want testimony. I want a medium burger that's juicy. I want a fabulous condiment bar. I want a flame broiled burger. I want a toasted sesame seed bun. I want how leafs of lettuce with none of the shredded crap. I want large slices of red red tomato. I want naturally fermented pickle. I want thousand island dressing. I want large thick slices of sweet onion. And I really want French fries that are cooked until golden brown and delicious. A decent milkshake is a plus.

Isn't a review a testimony from someone? You just need to learn to use your filter when reading through reviews as opinions will always vary. The only way to truly know if you like a burger joint (or any restaurant for that matter) is to go try it and then you know for yourself as like I said, Portland has become a big burger town so their are tons of options.

On the Tualatin facebook page people are P-I-S-S-E-D about this news. Like 100% of the comments were negative. Not like that'll stop it from happening. Luckily I moved down south... to Wilsonville.

I bet, traffic has gotten really bad there as it is.

I love In n' Out, been eating there for years. But it's hard to justify waiting in the crazy long lines in Keizer. On one pandemic boring day we drove down there on a whim. 3 hour wait! Forget it. Found a 5 Guys and headed home.

What would the one at Bridgeport be like? They are a victim of their own success.

I want testimony from someone I know. So, why can't you name a portion of the best hamburger restaurants because I can't find them. Like I said, I've only know two that were really outstanding and they are both long gone. Gene and Joe's is now Tebo and nothing like the original Gene and Joe's. The other great hamburger restaurant was at the Northern end of Terwilliger near Dunaway park. It was great until a Korean family bought it and ran it into the ground. It was then losing pill hill business rapidly and had to close. Now, they've even torn down the building.
I've tried Helvetia tavern and Stammtisch burgers also Killer burger.
No, my burgers must be flame broiled and no shredded lettuce or onion bits and pieces.
At home we flame broil my hamburgers and pile on a nice thick slice of sweet onion which right now is fantastic Vidalias. I no longer put cheese, lettuce, tomato or pickle on the burger because it makes it too hard to handle and get in my mouth. I'm too old to be fighting with my burger to eat it. I eat a naturally fermented dill pickle on the side. I usually have a few potato chips because proper french fries are difficult to make at home. We only eat great fries every once in a while. Also, I really need a toasted bun.
Now, name two or three places that serve a hamburger like that.

Maybe Mick can explain it better.
