That is not even the first question to ask in a lot of places. Places where Health insurance is not even sold. You wonder if any will offer it again.

I'm not sure what to do right now about my knee I hurt at work a year ago. The "doctor" at the urgent care said sprained ligaments and I needed to go to physical therapy immediately.

I did, it got slightly better and they released me from care.

A year later the pain and stiffness comes and goes like it just happened. I will bet good money my meniscus is fucked up. You can't see it in an xray and there isn't any blood flow to it from what I read so it will never heal.

Do I reopen an old workman's comp claim? Sue them for not getting me an MRI. I told them I landed straight down on my knee and it popped.

I'm probably walking around bone on bone.

Our system is stupid. They probably planned to milk my therapy knowing it wouldn't fix it.

Oh, and the other doctor that released me from therapy said he'd have prescribed rest in the first place and pretty much intimated they were milking my claim.

The therapist looked like I ran over his dog when I told him the other doctor released me early

My healtcare coverage is the only thing keeping me at work to be honest. If it was provided And someone else paid I'd chill for like a year not doing jack shit.

This is winning. Note that 211K jobs isn't good enough and the 4.4% unemployment rate is partially due to people who stopped looking for work the past 8+ years. That said, the lower unemployment gets, the less supply of workers there is and demand will drive up wages and benefits.

I strongly suspect it was poorly designed with evil intent as a step down the road to a single payer system.

It is a boldfaced lie to say the AHCA ditches people with preexisting conditions. As Townhall editor Guy Benson recently pointed out, “people with preexisting conditions are offered several layers of protection” including: Insurers are mandated to sell plans to everyone, period. Those with preexisting conditions who live in “a state that does not seek an optional waiver from the AHCA’s (and Obamacare’s) ‘community rating’ regulation cannot be charged more than other people for a new plan when they seek to purchase one.” Moreover, those who are “insured and remain continuously insured cannot be dropped from their plan due to a preexisting condition, and cannot be charged more after developing one” even if they change jobs or switch plans. Furthermore, if someone is uninsured and has a preexisting condition and lives in a state with a community rating waiver, the state must grant that person access to the $130 billion high risk pool fund provided under the AHCA.
