Horrible news: http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/...after-fall-from-luxury-suite-112210?GT1=39002

The Quicken Loans arena has some very steep drops and the seats in the front row of the top level have precariously weak and low (barely 3 feet) barriers and guard rails. As far as I remember, the RG is similar. I always am weary of losing my balance when cheering, or especially when around drunk people who aren't completely sane.

Scary stuff. I wonder if there are any feasible solutions to this issue.

other reports are that the parents weren't paying attention to the child and "lost" him. It could just be gross negligence.

This happened at Dodgers Stadium, some fan fell off the upper deck, but lived.

this is what the suite level looks like at Staples.

Thanks for the pic. It looks almost exactly like the situation in CLE or POR.

That barrier is way too small, imo. But then again, raising it would ruin the view.

Of course the RG has only one row of suites so the drop is much less.
