Veterans who claim preferential priority in silencing those against war, e.g.

I am proud of having avoided the draft. I've told the story here.
Why didn't you clarify the Vets you were talking about in the first place? I had no idea who you were talking about.

You guys have taught me a thing or two. Now I know that all military veterans are liberal hippies. The military has no tendency to be more conservative than the general population. In fact, they are more liberal than average. Let's inform them of this right away.

No one said that.

Perhaps. However, anyone that has a shred of defense for Alex Jones or this administration, even if they served, is by definition, to me, not patriotic
What’s funnier than shit is that I honestly do not know who Alex Jones is other than as some media figure. Apparently I have the innate ability to automatically ignore irrelevant crackpots? The only point I was trying to make is that those who try to ride a high horse probably should make sure their perspective is fully calibrated before taking off in a gallop.....and the very last thing I EVER claimed to be is a “patriot”. That’s just another dirty word for “nationalist” in my book.......

I am certain there is tons of right leaning content on YouTube, Facebook etc... - he was not singled out based on political leaning, he was based for repeatedly violating the TOS.

No, there is not.

90% of it has been removed and the rest is effectively blocked from news feeds.

Many conservative Congressional Representatives have been blocked.

Yes.

Check out their financial sheet.

"PBS is a private, nonprofit media enterprise owned by its member public television stations. PBS distributes programming to nearly 350 locally owned and operated public television stations across the country and is funded principally by these member stations and by CPB."

But he isn't just 'talking about conspiracies' hes promoting them, and they are rooted in flat out hate.

I just cannot fathom coming in the same universe as appearing to defend this guy after what he has said about Sandy Hook. He is literally the scum of the earth.

About a decade ago Jones broke the shocking story that the Feds were secretly converting many government buildings and old Walmarts into mass detention facilities. The Feds only response was that citizens should ignore him because he was a conspiracy theorist, a nut. Every media organization parroted this nonsense without even checking it out.

Now that we have discovered it’s 100% true where are the public retractions and apologies? Where are the investigations of how and why this could happen in a supposedly Free country, of the people by the people and for the people?

Jones apparently has more credibility than any of them.

Exactly.

A political propaganda outlet financed by a cartel of socialist-leaning station owners and other lefty billionaires.

Misrepresenting itself as an unbiased source for the people.

Maris, I have to say that I am impressed.

I have to ask you, what do you read? Where do you look for information in forming your opinions?

...wrong.

...oh, that's easy;

I know UCD....he's never defended Alex Jones...I read all his posts...you're calling out the wrong guy...UCD was addressing something entirely different from what I read.
I wasn't saying UCD was supporting Jones. I read his posts too. I was talking about anyone, not him. Anyway....

If it came across that I was insinuating you follow him, I was not, at all. I know you don't. I was speaking in broad terms, not specific to you. Apologies for the confusion.

I've never seen Alex Jones except in little bits of news reels about the dope.

It's no surprise that you would be repelled by PBS.

fact....It's actually a superior woman who controls the destiny of his children....
Aren't most school teachers women? We even have a woman priest in my parish. I belong to the same sect as LBJ, the Bush family and Trump.

Everywhere. Everyone. Every event.

All news outlets, regardless of slant or supposed credibility, The Library, documentaries, interviews, conversations with people I know or meet, 58 years of past information/fake news/propaganda I read combined with what came out much later to be the real story, and of course the occasional posts here that provide evidence to back up their post.

I assume it is all lies, try to discern the motives and methods behind the lies, follow the money/power, then search for verification of the slivers of truth that cannot be debunked.

Then add common sense and logical reasoning.

When you are taught this process at age 5 and look back nearly 6 decades later, you see there has never been a free or honest press and our government has been an elaborate front controlled by the most vile criminals in the world for at least 100 years.

I did indeed read Mad Magazine back in the 50's-60's.

Some of the most honest and revealing political commentary available at the time, disguised as comedy. Strongly influenced the civil rights and antiwar movements of the 60's.

Probably one of America's most important political publications of all time.

Then you'll be surprised I enjoy reading it daily?

Not repelling at all, for me it's a window into the minds of it's financiers and what they want to make you believe.

Pretty much all news is fake, but you can't discern the truth without first uncovering the lie.

So I love all sources of information/disinformation, and the opinions they express and elicit.

I've been watching the news since Eisenhower was President and I have a totally different take than you. First of all, my news sources are from acclaimed and credible sources.

I've had a long history of interest in politics. I've shaken hands with JFK, Nixon, and Nelson Rockefeller whom I had a brief discussion with regarding the Vietnam war. The Rockefeller discussion happened about two months after I got back from that war in 1968.

...BAM !...next case, the jury is now excused.

If you tangle yourself up in reading and trying to understand lies too much, you begin to have twisted thoughts. So, why not avoid all this confusion and stick to reliable sources?
