Telfair's good now. We just weren't patient with him.

the guy has never had a PER over 14.0 ... shoots right at 40% from the field, averages less then 2/1 on asst/to, and shoots 33% from deep and he's good now?

Instant offense off the bench guy would be a good role for Brooks. I'd take him as a backup if he'd accept.

The only way Lillard wouldn't deserve to start is if we brought in a proven team leader at the point guard position, or we had another guy already on the team that deserved to start at the start of the season, and have to right to get beaten out by Lillard. Nolan Smith certainly isn't that guy, and I don't see us bringing in a proven above average point guard.

I like the idea of just throwing Lillard to the Wolves. As long as we get a coach who will let Lillard play and make mistakes he should be fine. Every elite PG has had problems with turnovers their rookie year and the ability to learn from those mistakes is something McMillian NEVER let his PG's do. You have to let him make his mistakes and learn from them.

The Blazers' Batum, Webster, Tolliver...the Ducks' Ridnour...Lake Oswego's Love...now Kahn licks his chops thinking of our latest Little Red Riding Hood?
