Active NBA win streaks when scoring 100+ points:

Spurs 28
Cavs 27
Blazers 10
Magic 7
Sixers 7

Just saw it on TNT like Im sure many here did.

This stat usually implies that you have a pretty steady team defensively, yet at the same time I have heard the crazies and the sane posters on here mention a lack of consistent quality defense on this team. Nate was the "defensive coach" for the Olympic team. You could argue that any seasoned NBA level coach could implement a quality defensive gameplan if that was his only responsibility. So which is it? Does Nate have your team tight defensively which this stat shows...or is this stat just some random fluke that sometimes happens in the stat book.

FYI: The Blazers last loss when scoring over 100 points was 112-120 vs A TEAM TO REMAIN NAMELESS on Dec 12

Please don't ever mention this ever again......ever.

1/5 still haunts me at night.

That loss was the toughest to swallow, IMO.

Losing a couple games with last second three pointers were tough to accept, but there wasn't much the Blazers could do . . . luck or skill, it was out of the Blazers hands.

But that Clipper lose with the free throws . . . that was completely in the Blazers control. Should be 29-16 . . .

holy crap guys, im sorry for mentioning it! geez! On a whim it was the last thing I wanted to research for my OP....lol :ohno:

going by hollinger's numbers, portland is last in the league in pace. if you're playing at the slowest pace in the league and still get to 100 points, odds are you win.

DaRizz, as I'm sure you've noticed among your fellow sheep fuckers..er..Laker fans, fans like to bitch. Things are always 10x worse than they really are, and the sky is always falling and the grass is always greener.

rocketeer wins the thread.

Thanks for bringing that horrible game up again.

Argggg! I was at that game, with my kids no less. What a horrible experience it was for the kiddies (and Dad).

But, on the bright side, it's the only time they've watched the Blazers lose in the last two seasons: 12 - 0 last year and 5 - 1 so far this season. We've got tickets for 6 more this season, including the Spurs and Lakers. If they win those, that ugly Clipps loss will be purged from our memories.

What was funny about that game was that they were saying leave Davis open as the guy to shoot the three because he was 0-13 in his career on game winning or game tying three point shots. Oops.
