He said that during all the speculation and rumors, so its obvious he's pulling BS out of his ass.

I agree that overall Marbury has a warm heart and good intentions...he just never seems to win many ball games...and really doesn't do well publicly somehow (self-proclaimed Best PG in league, cheated Georgia Tech Basketball)

I hear all this stuff about Marbury being a team cancer and all these teams going deep into the playoffs when Marbury leaves...hard to imagine New York suddenly becoming a perrennial playoff team if they trade Marbury, hehe.

He also always gets great stats...great shooting percentage past two years, decent assist numbers...sigh...he's a mystery..

Yea I agree with Chutney. Basketball and life are different. Marbury is actually a nice guy. But a sucky player.

overconfident and cocky yes but I wouldn't say selfish.

Only 3 years has he fallen under 8 apg and he ranks 13 in assists per 48 minutes.

Starbury is living proof that stats don't tell the whole story. He racks up assists so easily, but dominates the ball at times and could easily be one of the best distributors in the league.

It's more of him getting assists because he has the ball in his hands and yea he his a good passer, but he's not always getting his assists so much because he's being an effective playmaker.
