The Iowa Energy announced today they have acquired Jackie Carmichael.
The 6-9 forward graduated from Illinois State in 2013, where he averaged 17.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game his senior year. Carmichael spent time with the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat in the NBA Summer League earlier this year.
The Energy waived forward Carlos Emory to make room for Carmichael.
The Energy have five road games, including the NBA D-League Showcase, prior to their next home game on Sunday, January 12th at 4 PM, with a youth jersey giveaway presented by Dahl's.
