Is anybody watching any more?

Really?

The 2004–05 NBA season was the 35th season for the Portland Trail Blazers in the National Basketball Association.[1] During the offseason, the Blazers acquired Nick Van Exel from the Golden State Warriors and signed free agent Joel Przybilla. The Blazers played around .500 for the first two months, but started to struggle losing 11 of their 15 games in January. Head coach Maurice Cheeks was fired midway through the season with a record of 22–33. He was replaced by general manager Kevin Pritchard, who acted as interim coach for the remainder of the season, in which the team went 5–22.

.500 for the start of the season, then pure tank to finish it, sure seems like what we're going through here.
To be fair, he said Brandon Roy rebuild, and we hadn't drafted him yet in that season.

Define "following". The reason we've stopped watching is because it's too painful. If we didn't give a shit, it wouldn't be painful.

Jerry West literally could not bring himself to watch Lakers' playoff games because it was such torture. Are you saying he no longer "followed" the Lakers?
Got me man. I watched every game I possibly could my whole life regardless of if we were good or bad. From like age 5 with my parents on. I know for a fact I’d be watching these games even if it wasn’t my job. I don’t think I could NOT watch my favorite team.

yeah but you have a lot of free time since everyone else tends to your missus!

I meant the season after Nick van Exel. The season Brandon started. That was a true, and fun, rebuild ending the Jailblazer era, and around a great player. Not a tank season like this boring one. Analogously, it would be next season after this shitshow... hopefully!

Side note: That was the season I got my 1/2 season tickets, which are way down low in the bowl. They were practically giving them away. Now, there are ZERO 1/2 season seats anywhere near where I sit anymore. My Blazer rep says I would be an idiot to give them up (which I almost just did because the product right now is so bad) because they don't even sell them anymore where I sit.
