Is anyone else physically sick over the loss?

As for the Bulls-Pistons comparisons, Sly, those series were in the second and third round. It would be hard to swallow if we don't even win a series after winning two straight on the road.

My point is still valid. The harder the series the more the team learns and grows.

I'm sure I'm in a very small minority, but should the Blazers lose this series, yet all in close games, I'd still view it as a positive. This is supposed to be fun, people!

With Houston winning game three, you have them winning series don't ya?

Not at all. Huh? I picked the Blazers in 6. The world won't end should Portland lose a tough 7 game series against a team like Houston, though.

A few days ago, you said the winner of Game 3 would win the series. I said no and explained why and you got mad at me and said it was your OPINION.

Agreed. I still think we win on Sunday. I think it's Blazers in 6... if we lose in 6 or 7 it's not the worst thing in the world. It's a helluva experience against a damn good team. Anything past this series is gravy... next year I believe we have a damn good chance of making a deep run in the playoffs.

I was bummed after the game last night, but it's just a basketball game, and none of us have any control over the outcome.

On to Game 4!!

While not even remotely legal you could kidnap someone in Howard and Hardens family and threaten their lives if they do not blow the game or series on purpose. So yes you could have some control over the outcome, you could also offer millions of dollars to ref in order to fix the outcome.

Wouldn't that involve actually watching the game?

I don't want Magic Johnson posting in this forum!

Why because he is black? Or because he has Aids? Or because he is a Hall of Famer and knows more about basketball than anyone on this forum will ever know?

Worse, he's a Laker.

What?!? No killer instinct? LOL! We've gone punch for punch with the Rockets 3 straight games. If this team didn't have a killer instinct we wouldn't have gone to OT twice and we'd be sitting at 0-3.

If you read my posts before the game, as well as this one, I was specifically referring to the BEGINNING of the game. We play clutch ball at the end of a game, but we never put a team away early and give them hope. Wes admitted as much in his interview you posted.

So our beginning killer instinct sucks but our ending killer instinct is fine? We got off to a slow start, it happens, I wouldn't read too much into it.

I have thought Houston was the better overall team and they had home court advantage, so I never thought , and still dont think we will win the series.

You say that as if that was possible and the players just chose not to. Houston is a good team. Even Miami didn't come out and blowout Charlotte out of the gate today.

I hope I'm wrong. My problem was that you said it was me stating it as a FACT, when it was my OPINION.

I think the team that wins four games first will win the series.

I feel so dumb even reading this gibberish.

That's a FACT and an OPINION!

Although, the NBA could go back in time and say Houston should get the series because of the blown call that gave Portland Game One. They could declare Houston the winner, even if Portland won four games after the buzzer.

So, there's that possibility, guize!

This thread was a great opportunity to discuss vomit, and you guys ruined it as usual.

So what is your opinion then? That the Blazers will win in 6 or that the team that wins game 3 win the series? See the problem?

I feel awful. I have pain in my chest. I try to calm myself down and look at the positives but it doesn't work. I just want to tomorrow to come now so we can bounce back and go up 3-1. I hate living and dying by this game. I was on such a high after game 1 as I know many of you were. Now I'm in pain. Anyone else feel this way?

Physically sick? No.

Disappointed? Yes, I felt like that for a few minutes and moved on to more important things in life.

"Moving on to more important things" this afternoon was the therapy I needed. I wrote letters to 80 casting directors to let them know I was back in NYC. I felt much better after doing that. I'm still antsy for tomorrow's game. I'm watching it in my apartment and I think I'll be standing for most of the game. I get keyed in.
