Oh, look, it's Dog Vader. I see you've fully embraced the dark side.

Bynum and Oden will bang knees and their bodies will instantly implode into a black hole of injury, sucking both teams into the void.

And that my friends is how the Blazers won the 2014 NBA Championship.

Ooooo.....the very thought tingles my dangly bits!

Wow! This just pisses me off. The Blazers could have easily cut someone like Cleaver and signed Bynum. This is KP telling Paul how to take a good chance.

Ask the Lakers, no the 76ers, no the Cavs...they all thought the same thing. And after Kobe declared his hatred for Bynum, he went on to put 2 other teams in contention yeah?

The Pacers got him for a championship run. It is a very good chance!

Pacers are going to contend anyway so in my opinion they might have signed a big guy with knees who actually likes basketball and is coachable. Kareem said Bynum was uncoachable. Thought fundamentals were boring and a waste of time. What a guy! Wonder if he'll get Nate fired from the bench in Indy?

They were already a shoe in for the ECF... they didn't need help against the Heat that has no legit C anyway.

Bynum will probably be out of Indiana by the end of the regular season, is my guess.

I wonder if they signed him to prevent any other team in contention from signing him and gaining a big body to go against Hibbert with.

Pay him a million or two to keep him off any other team's playoff roster, is my bet.

Or that. I don't know why you'd sign someone who has publicly said he doesn't care for the game of basketball to a contending team. That seems bass ackwards.

Maybe if you knew you'd have to play against a huge center like Hibbert and needed an extra body that didn't have degenerating knees... basically, to keep Miami from getting him, imho. Cheap defensive maneuver.

Its a good move for Indy. Low risk, high reward. He was playing at times at an all star level. And when he has guys out there who are motivated and will push him, Bynum will play at an All Star level eventually. This is what championship teams do, they take risks on questionable guys. Miami with Oden. Indiana with Bynum.

swing for the fences, yo.

If they can get him to play and be a professional. It's a very scary acquisition for the rest of the league. I am a little suprised that an organization that does their business very similarly to this one here in Portland would take a chance on him. But there is no doubt that he is a talent and if he is right will do nothing but help someone.

Now that makes a lot of sense!

Please explain how this is a good move for the pacers and would have been a bad move for the Blazers?:dunno:

Do you really think the Blazers want a big guy with bum knees who's a lockerroom cancer? Baffles the mind!
