Paul Allen has turned being a blazer fan into a joke. The last twenty years have been rough.

We Blazer fans are Sisyphus. Eventually, we'll roll the boulder to the top of the hill and it will stay there.

If you gotta ask, you ain't a real fan.
That's bullshit. The fact that I have been a strong follower for decades means that I am a fan. My OG post, which was mostly just a way to vent frustration, starts off saying that I don't even think it's really an option to stop being a fan. But that does not answer the question "IS BEING A BLAZER FAN WORTH IT?" I will continue to be a fan even if I am putting more into the situation than I am receiving from it. But is all this worth it, is the pain worth it? Is the heartbreak worth it? Are the constant let downs worth it?
The point of being a sports fan is to add some entertainment to your life, not a duty. So, if your fandom is providing you net pleasure, it's worth it. If it's not providing you pleasure or, worse yet, net pain...then it's not worth it.
Now, let's say that I right now the net pain is exceeds net pleasure. Stopping my fandom is not really an option just because one side of the scale is heavier. For good or bad, I will wait it out and hope that one day, the pleasure will return.

No not really, but we're stuck with them, unless you're a douchebag bandwagon fan![]()
Um, you might want to re-check the story. Actually, you might not.
