I've seen this debated before, a lot of people think it's reversed racism. To me, it's not racist, but nausiating, I can imagine the hiring process for the BET hosts. "Well, how good of a public speaker are you?" "Forsheezy ya heard?"

I watch it all the time...its not racist.But I agree with BALLA, if there was a WET people will be going insane calling it racist and all that...And I dont think the host are bad at all....besides Rocsis accent(which is kindve cute)none of them talk weird or anything.

No it's not racist, why?

Because it's entertainment aimed towards black people. White people can watch it if they want, there's no rule that says you can't watch a TV channel. I personally watched a show called 'ballers' when Caron Butler was on their. :dribble:

WET would definetely cause some stir but it wouldn't last long because it would probabely close down pretty quickly.

Why would they care; their show would probably fail on that network anyway. Same with FOX; all of the black shows that have ever existed on there have not survived...from The PJs to Method and Red (as horrible and degrading as it was).

Whites run BET now and a lot of blacks say they're not putting the right things on the station.

Did anybody notice that College Hill was playing on MTV a while ago? Now it makes sense after reading Gentiles post. I remember when a artist mentioned MTV in a song, BET would beep it out...and MTV did the same to BET.

When was the last time you saw a black guy on the WB? WB is WET IMO.

White people have over 20 tv channels(ABC,NBC,CMT,VH1,DISC,TLC,A+E,MNSBC,CNBC,ABC FAMILY,etc.All we get is BET and UPN. stop complaining white people about black people having bet. you may not call it wet, but you have ALOT of white entertainment on tv.
